Alchemy Springs is my favorite place. The moment you walk in, it feels like an oasis. The people who work here and who come here are wonderful. I left NYC and was seeking my 'othership' and I'm so glad to have found Alchemy, It is it's own vibe. I am excited to see how this place grows once it's actually done. The founders are excellent and I am confident they are going to keep making this place even better even though it is already at 5 stars in my book :)
The overall experience is amazing, they have a very large dry sauna along with 2 cold plunges. There are 3 lounge areas at the moment and showers outside for now. There is an additional lounge area on the ground floor with changing rooms and lockers. The sister property on the ground floor is called Alchemy House which throws events on a regular basis ranging from: Art exhibitions, music, concerts, yoga, breath-work, sound healing, ecstatic movement and etc.
Ive been twice now and I feel great after I leave. I'm excited for the expansion because I already love it. Good smells, art, bohemian vibes, huge sauna, cold plunge. Had some tasty hydration bevies for free and I steep my free tea while I get dressed then enjoy tea and comfy furniture while my body resets. This place has become a fixture of my SF business trips.
nothing is fully perfect - but Alchemy Springs ALMOST is! I would give 5 stars if the sauna were as hot as my body desires, but given the fact that they are in a period of growth and expansion, I know and believe it will get better! The Yoga room has an exceptionally good acoustic for soundbaths... WOW! thanks Alchemy for existing in SF and can't wait for more adventures with you
Super disappointing experience. Paid $60 and walked into what felt like a construction site. Most of the space was blocked off or unfinished, with exposed materials and temporary setups everywhere. There was no clear warning about how much of the facility was unavailable, which feels misleading. Definitely not worth the price in its current state. I’d avoid until renovations are complete.
