I came to ASEL Cafe in Batavia, their matcha latte is rich and delicious! They import their matcha, pink matcha, and hojicha directly from Japan. The pink matcha is sweet with a refreshing fruity flavor. Their bingsu also reminds me of Korean Sulbing-style shaved ice. I asked, and they said they brought the bingsu machine from Korea. I ordered the mango bingsu and it was so good 💛 I’ll definitely come back to try other menu items!

If your willing to try new things and are in search of a treat. This is the spot. Little tough to find in the front of the Walmart parking lot with lots of vacant stores but wow! What a find. I wasn’t sure at first but we stepped outside the comfort area you can find some very unique dishes. We tried the Strawberry Bingsu, Oreo Bingsu and Brown Sugar Boba Croffle all winners and gotta say I felt like a 5 star restaurant and we were whisked away to another play with the flavors. So good. We did have a few drinks as well fair warning the Matcha Latte is strong but the Pink Matcha is perfectly flavored. Over all a win. Make your way over here for a treat. Well worth it.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The owner was so helpful with navigating the menu. I’m very picky and she recommended a drink that I absolutely loved. We also enjoyed the shaved ice. It was very delicious and refreshing. The whole atmosphere was amazing. I loved everything about this place! Highly recommended

I finally checked something off my bucket list without even planning to and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been wanting to try bingsu for the longest time, and I never expected to stumble across such a cozy, cute spot that had it! I originally came in for boba (especially matcha, which I love), but this place turned out to be so much more than I expected. As someone who really appreciates matcha in its more traditional form, I was so happy to find a place that respects its roots while still making it accessible and delicious. No shade to other spots I just value the culture and care behind it, and you can really taste that here. What made the experience even more special was the owner. She was so warm and welcoming, and I loved hearing her share the story behind the shop and herself. You can tell that every detail of this place reflects her and her family it feels genuine, personal, and full of heart. Even her daughters were there, and they were absolutely adorable. This isn’t just a place to grab a drink; it’s an experience. I’m so grateful I found it, and I’ll definitely be coming back and telling everyone I know. No gatekeeping here this spot deserves all the love. Thank you for such a memorable visit 🤍
