Absolutely the best food I ever had. This is the first time I had Korean and I’m amazed. This was more of an experience rather than a dinner. Cannot recommend it enough. I’m typing this review whilst I’m still sat at the table.
Always a pleasure to visit Bab n Suul when visiting London. The theatre of the Bbq adds something special to the dining experience and if you've never had Korean food before, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. We had the beef this time and it was high quality and delicious. Other recommended dishes are the salt and pepper squid and the slow cooked pork. Henry the barman was fantastic as always, multi tasking, by making the most delicious cocktails and cooking our Bbq for us. If you want attentive staff, high quality food, and a great atmosphere.......look no further.
First visit so had higher hopes. We were seated immediately. And service was quick. The menu had visual aids to help with orders which is helpful. Taste wise not the greatest I’m afraid. The spicy squid was under cooked and very chewy. Rest of the options were good. Side dishes not that appetising. Only 2 mocktail options and overall everything was very overpriced. Don’t think will be coming back unfortunately.
My partner and I visited a Korean BBQ restaurant for the first time, and it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. We were served by Jay, who was fantastic. He recommended the Premium Set along with the sweet and spicy chicken wings and beef fried rice, and every dish was absolutely delicious. He knew exactly what would put a smile on our faces and made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and courteous throughout our visit. The meat was succulent, the atmosphere was great, and the music perfectly complemented the dining experience. The service was everything you could hope for and more. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend giving it a try—you won't be disappointed. I would suggest booking in advance, as there may be a short wait during busy periods, but the team will do their best to accommodate you. We will definitely be returning!
Damn, where shall I start? Service was quick and easy at the moment we walked through the open doors. Its not your typical korean home restaurant but it would do. We ordered one of the set pork menu on offer but when it was time to cook the food, the waiter/server added more oil to the grill even though the pork was fatty. So that cause the oil to burst everywhere giving us oil bursts on our arms and once on my face! It also stained our clothes from all that cooking oil. From the photo you can see that our table is just full of oil, so had to clean it up myself. Just be prepared to bring a long a bib and wear long sleeves. Overall the food was alright but not great. Ive had better but seemingly it is in the heart of Chinatown you get what sow. One more thing, just be prepared to smell of food because the ventilation could have been better if they had installed vacuums funnels over the grill on each table like an authentic Korean bbq. Would i go back again?? Ermmm nah.
