Located on the 8th floor through the alleyway. Ordered the 4500 yen lunch prefix course meal for 2. Meat quality was up to par. As far of sizes for the meat is a bit on the small side. The lunch special course came with two banchan, a drink, salad and a choice of beef stew or cold noodles at the end. We selected the beef stew. It was best pairing with rice. We ended the meal with a tiny scoop of chestnut ice cream. Ice cream was delicious. As for the attention from the waitress, you need to press the “Call for service button” on the table. They do not offer free refills on banchan nor hot tea or any drinks. This, I do NOT like. So for that, customer service is 3 for us.
I had the KIRA Course at The Wagyu Beef Asakusa Store, and it was absolutely amazing. The presentation of each dish was refined and elegant, even decorated with gold leaf, everything looked so luxurious. The wagyu was beautifully marbled, rich in flavor yet not greasy at all, melting perfectly in my mouth. The staff were attentive and professional, explaining each cut of beef with great care. From the appetizers to the clay pot rice at the end, every detail showed true craftsmanship. A top-class yakiniku experience in Tokyo , perfect for special occasions or a romantic dinner.
I read many reviews before booking this place, and I was very satisfied with both the delicious food and the comfortable dining experience. The seating is well spaced, you can enjoy privacy while eating. The order of the wagyu dishes are well managed, so we don’t feel tired of the rich taste of wagyu. I also enjoyed the sake we ordered. I’m glad I chose this restaurant among so many wagyu options—it made my boyfriend happy, which means a lot to me.
The ingredients are truly top-notch, showcasing remarkable freshness and quality in every dish. Each slice of meat is tender and beautifully marbled — it practically melts in your mouth with every bite, releasing a rich aroma and deep umami that lingers pleasantly. The appetizers are delicate and thoughtfully composed, balancing texture and flavor with an elegant sense of restraint. The drinks pair harmoniously with the meal — smooth, well-balanced, and refreshing without overpowering the food. From presentation to pacing, every detail reveals the chef’s careful craftsmanship and understanding of refinement. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience that invites you to slow down, appreciate the artistry behind each course, and fully savor the quiet luxury of dining done right.
You can never go wrong with wagyu in Japan, especially at a place called Beef Professional. I highly recommend the 9-course set menu for 10,000 yen. It is filling, amazingly fresh, and the servers were so professional and attentive. She speaks fluent English! Despite me coming in near closing time, they were happy to serve me. I'm so glad they did. In hindsight I would've gone for the 14,000 yen set had I come earlier. Located on the 8th floor in a nice building tucked in an alleyway. I couldn't recommend it more for a wagyu taster.
