What locals say
Food was out of this world. If your looking for a great Korean bbq place this is it. Meat was incredibly fresh. Grill is hot charcoals which gives delicious flavor to the meat. Prices were fair for the quality. Staff were friendly and attentive. Ambiance was nice with beautifully designed restaurant and was perfectly clean. Would certainly return.
Omg. A great place to eat. We aren’t that hungry and thought just a bit of bbqed meat and a salad might be enough. But we got so much more. It was delicious. The staff are very attentive and it has a nice atmosphere.
BornGa Korean BBQ – District 1, Ho Chi Minh City If you’re looking for authentic Korean BBQ in Ho Chi Minh City, BornGa is definitely worth a visit. The food comes out very quickly, and the side dishes are unbelievably generous — at first, I was surprised why the grill was placed at the end of the table, but once all the side dishes arrived, it made perfect sense because there were just so many of them! Everything can be refilled without limit, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. The staff speak English very well and provide clear, detailed information, which makes the dining experience smooth and welcoming. The location is also easy to find, right in District 1. The prices are standard for this type of Korean BBQ restaurant, though they might feel a bit high for locals. Still, the quality and experience are absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is very lively, and I noticed that most of the customers were Korean, which really adds to the authentic vibe. If you’re traveling in Vietnam and feel like taking a break from Vietnamese food, I highly recommend trying BornGa — it won’t disappoint!
I I’ve dined at Bornga several times over the past few years, and their quality has remained consistently excellent. The prices are on the premium side, but you truly get what you pay for with fresh vegetables, delicious banchan, and top-quality meat. I especially love their grilled pork and beef; the meat is so good it hardly needs any seasoning. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and the ventilation system works well—my mom and I left without smelling like food. And don’t skip the cold noodles because their tangy, refreshing flavor perfectly complements the grilled meat
Tasty, juicy short rib and pork belly—grilled just right, no dry nonsense. Banchan is straight fire: one of the best I’ve had, fresh, generous, and keeps coming. Ignore the bad reviews if you want real Korean (not endless AYCE buffet vibes). This spot nails authentic flavor without the gimmicks. Loved it. Definitely going back. 🇰🇷🥩
