Similar vibes to Korean cafes with light wooden interior. Pistachio cream latte was so tasty. Free wifi available and laptop friendly. Nice place to work from in Shin Okubo and hide from the cold.

Tucked away in the heart of Tokyo’s Korean Town in Hyakunincho, Cafe Nuel is a small, understated gem that deserves every bit of attention it gets. From the moment you step inside, there’s a sense of quiet dedication and care that defines the experience. The barista works tirelessly, and it truly shows in the lattes—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, prepared with a level of skill that elevates something simple into something memorable. The waiting staff are equally impressive, attentive yet unobtrusive, ensuring that each order is handled with professionalism and a personal touch. And then, there’s the Basque cheesecake. Without exaggeration, it is the best I’ve ever had—silky, creamy in the center, with just the right hint of caramelized depth on the edges. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you pause with each bite. Cafe Nuel may not shout for attention, but it doesn’t need to. Its charm lies in its subtlety, the warmth of its service, and the excellence of its offerings. If you find yourself wandering through Shinjuku’s Korean Town, this is a stop worth making.

Cute coffee spot close to Shinjuku station. Mid cheesecake but great coffee. I ordered the Oreo cheesecake or cookies&cream, you choose the best way to call it, and it didn’t taste anything like an Oreo, but more like a creamy yogurt with a soft based. Warm, cozy and friendly tho, cute for a date idea as well.

Great cafe Ordered the ice matcha oat latte and it was good! It came with ice cream on top On weekends they have a strict 90 min rule and will tell you to leave at the minute since they have waiting customers But the staff is kind and service is great!
