We tried the tiramisu bingsu and it was my first time tasting shaved ice. I would describe it as Ice powder with a hint of coconut flavor and it was a good experience. The wifi is also fast and the seats are ok if you bring your laptop to work while enjoying your dessert. Overall, it's a nice place, clean and good options to eat or drink.
The croissant sandwich was really good, it had apple and cheese, which was a nice combination. However, it arrived about 20 minutes after our coffee. I didn’t really enjoy the latte, as it had too much milk for my taste. The matcha was good.
I’ve been coming here often since it changed to Cafe Namoo, enjoying their delicious coffee and desserts, but I realized I’ve never actually left a review, so here I am! In the early days, this was the only cafe in Toronto where you could get deli-manju, which made it even more special. It was such a hidden gem back then! I’ve been coming here for over a year now, and the quality has always been consistent. The coffee is great, the desserts are always fresh, and it’s become one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving something sweet. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
This Korean cafe is cozy and relaxing. They serve bingsu and various desserts. They also have savoury dishes like sandwiches and spicy rice cakes. They offer a selection of Korean specialty teas. I ordered the ssanghwa tea which is a sweet herbal tea with nutty flavour. The mango mousse was tasty with the right amount of sweetness.
Café Namoo is such a cute and special spot--everything about it feels warm and welcoming. The lady working was the sweetest and so attentive, making sure we had the best experience. We shared the Mango Bingsu, and it was huge--easily enough for the five of us. The flavor was a solid 9/10, super refreshing and delicious. If they had crispy corn flakes on top, it would've been a straight 10/10 for me. We also got two Dalgona Lattes, one with oat milk, and she differentiated them with the coasters, which was such an adorable touch. Now I need to go back just to try more drinks! Service is always so good here. The second time I went, I accidentally ordered something with sausage and as I don’t eat that, I brought it to her and she completely refunded and gave me another item. Just amazing service and really makes you feel welcome. Parking was free but a little awkward--spots are at an angle, and the plaza can get busy. But honestly, it's worth it. When we went, a few moms were catching up over bingsu, and it was such a wholesome vibe. Can't wait to be back and explore more of the menu!
