California Market is a great spot for grocery shopping. It offers convenient parking, a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood, and even has cafes inside for a quick bite. The prices are great, with everyday sales, and the friendly staff make the experience even better. Highly recommended!
California Market is one of my go-to places for grocery shopping. The store is consistently clean, well-organised, and offers a great selection of fresh produce, meats, and hard-to-find Asian ingredients. The quality of the fruits and vegetables is always excellent, and everything is neatly presented, which makes shopping more enjoyable. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always willing to help when needed. I also appreciate the mix of everyday essentials and unique seasonal items, which keeps things interesting. Whether you’re grabbing a few basics or preparing a full Korean meal, this market has you covered. Highly recommended!
So disappointed today! I love California Market. Their Kimchi is awesome! I like to shop fresh veggies & meat too. BUT! Today, the Korean fried chicken I got from deli was SO BAD! TOO tough to chew. I thought my teeth will be chipped. My daughter & My husband couldn’t chew on it, either. We had to threw them away!🥲 What part of chicken are they using?? Too hard.
Warning to women who shop here. This creep was following me around the grocery store. He would block the aisles and just stand there and staring at me menacingly. At one point he tried to touch me and got aggressive and even pushed my cart out of the way. I saw he parks at the car wash across the street and seems like he does it regularly. I told the staff but he rushed out. I felt extremely unsafe and thought he was going to get violent with me. Be safe ladies we can't even grocery shop in peace anymore
I wish I lived closer to this market! Took a detour and found so much authentic Korean food and household items. They carry majority of the meat you would order in kbbq! Some of the freshness of their greens looked wilted but you can’t beat the prices. I walk out of Hmart $100 down every trip, this one I was shocked at how much I saved. Yes they still had plastic bags, but I was grateful they did— cuz I needed to walk 3 blocks.
