Our cute Korean friend took us to this fabulous Korean BBQ in Korea Town. We loved it! The Jap chae was fabulous. It was a great way to all share a meal. We had a private room and the service was wonderful.
There is valet parking. (Valet fee is $4) I ordered Neangmyun, and it is amazingly delicious. However, I didn't understand putting vinegar and mustard in disposable bins. You just need big bins that is more convenient and also good at environment. Prime Galbi was good, but the onion was ignored how to eat. Overall, the interior was fancy and service was good. Many korean people recommended this place. I love it. 9/11/2025 Everything is so nice right now. No more disposal bins. We had a lunch menu and it was good! 12/2025 Galbi was sweet to me. Service is amazing.
Five Stars Chosun Galbee is my hands-down favorite Korean barbecue in Los Angeles. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone—warm, energetic, and refined without being stuffy. There’s an open-air patio shaded by ficus trees, an elegant dining room with modern wood and stone touches, and the unmistakable sizzle and aroma of top-quality meats grilling at every table. Their signature galbee is the best I’ve ever had—beautifully marbled short ribs marinated in a savory-sweet soy blend that caramelizes perfectly over the flame. The bulgogi is tender and flavorful, while the prime rib and ribeye cuts rival any steakhouse in the city. The seafood is equally impressive—the sea bass and shrimp are fresh, delicately seasoned, and grilled to perfection. Banchan are abundant and thoughtfully prepared, from the crisp kimchi to the delicate bean sprouts and seasoned spinach. The japchae, with glass noodles and vegetables, is silky and aromatic, and their bibimbap is a colorful masterpiece that balances texture and heat. On warmer nights, the cold buckwheat noodles (naengmyeon) are a refreshing standout. Their full bar deserves mention—soju flights, Korean beers, and a surprisingly strong whiskey and cocktail list make it easy to pair drinks with any dish. Service is attentive without hovering, and the staff knows the menu inside out. Whether for a date, a client dinner, or a night out with friends, Chosun Galbee nails it every time.
Excellent side dishes and generous portions of meat combos. The pan fried fish appetizer dish was the best I’ve had in a long long while. Some of the meats are so so.
An OG of K-Town you can’t go wrong here. Classic menu, classic flavors, all done really well. Their side dishes are straight out of Korea. Their meats are high quality. Their neng myun is one of the best in the city. It’s great for large groups, families and date night. Highly recommend.
