Truly delicious Korean food. Very fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices for the dishes (we didnt do the Korean bbq). The bibimbap and seafood soup and apps were all delicious. The service was fast and friendly too. Will be happy to visit here again.

Absolutely one of the best Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had in Vancouver. The quality of the meat is outstanding, everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The side dishes are plentiful and constantly refreshed, which really elevates the whole dining experience. What impressed me the most was the service. The staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. Even when the restaurant is busy, the team stays professional and ensures everything runs smoothly. The atmosphere is lively, authentic, and perfect for a night out with friends or family. Every visit has been consistently excellent, which is rare these days. Chosun has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Highly recommended — I’ll be coming back again and again!

It was overall a good experience, but I’d like to share a few comments. We requested hot water, but were told it wasn’t available and were offered tea instead. Unfortunately, the tea was cold. When we asked for it to be changed, it took about 10 minutes, and the replacement was also cold, which was disappointing. We ordered the premium beef, and the quality was good. At the beginning, the customer service was quite disorganized, but it improved over time. The prices are on the higher side, especially for groups of more than five people, as a 15% service fee is added. Overall, it was a decent experience, but not a place I would miss or visit frequently.

The quality & amount for the price was very reasonable compared to other Korean restaurants. Got the medium party combo and it was just the right amount for 7 people. Most of the meats were marinated except for one pork option. I personally wish there were more non-marinated meats in the combo. There was also chicken included, which I’m not really a fan of at k-bbq. For parties of 6 or more, I recommend reserving ahead, since tables with only one grill aren’t enough and make the experience a bit slow. We had to wait quite a bit each time for meat to finish cooking. The servers were very attentive and super prompt whenever we asked for banchan refills. The only downside was the kimchi. It tasted a bit off. It tasted like gochujang.

Food was great, especially the banchan!!! One of the best kimchi I’ve had recently. We ordered the beef and pork set for 2 people and boy, the portion is good. Cold noodles with beef tartare was also a hit. I only found the service to be the only blot of the night - understand the restaurant was super packed but the waitress forgot to serve the dipping sauce and almost missed our beer order. Still, a solid bbq option Downtown!
