My all-time favorite Korean BBQ spot! Authentic flavors, great quality meat, and very budget-friendly. You can’t reserve over the phone — you need to book on their iPad in person. Wait times can be longer during holidays, but it’s totally worth it.

Extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience. The pork belly was nothing but excessive fat, and both the pork and beef slices were cut paper-thin, which felt like very poor quality for what we paid. To make things worse, a staff member started spraying strong detergent and cleaning right next to us while we were eating. The smell was overwhelming and irritating to our noses, making it impossible to continue our meal. We felt so uncomfortable that we had no choice but to leave. This was incredibly unprofessional, unpleasant, and unacceptable. Definitely will not be coming back.

We had a very fun time (as a group of four). We ordered 2 beef, 1 chicken, and one vegan— the variety was great and the food very yummy. Great service. I would have preferred it if the cleaning of adjacent tables wasn’t done with spray bottles because they spread the smell of the strong cleaning products which does not compliment the food one bit. And I’d advise that staff are a bit more careful when bending down (to check in the burner flame) that their hair doesn’t get into the food on the table behind them.

It was busy, and they only had 2 people serving, but they were doing their best to get to everyone. It took a while for stuff to come in but as said, busy day and low staff. Food was good, and refills were fast! Two sets for 2 people was the perfect amount, kinda expensive, but what restaurant isn’t this days? Lol Picture: chicken and chuck steak

I’ve visited Daldongnae before at Dundas and even in London, and I always had a really good experience, which is why I chose to come here again yesterday, I even brought my friends along and spoke highly of this place to them. Unfortunately, this location completely ruined the experience for all of us. From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt off. The place itself looked quite dirty, especially the walls, which was disappointing. What made it worse was the staff’s attitude — they seemed uninterested, didn’t want to communicate, and gave us uncomfortable looks. One girl staff was sweet and friendly I can’t tell same about other two girls. When we ordered, the way the food was placed on the table felt careless, almost like they didn’t want to serve us at all. It was supposed to be a special outing, but instead, it turned into a very uncomfortable experience. Good food can’t make up for poor service and bad energy. I really hope the management looks into this, because no customer should feel unwelcome. After this experience, I won’t be visiting any of their branches again. Please don’t make someone’s day worse just because of attitude.
