Del Seoul

We had the shrimp tacos, bulgogi Bahn mi, and kimchi fries. All 3 were great, but the shrimp tacos stood out. I'd probably get the shrimp bahn mi next time. The hot sauce is super good as well

The food was great, their specialty dish like Spicy Tofu Soup was authentic. We also ordered a bunch of dishes, including tacos, fried wings, fries, and bentos. All of them were really delicious and the portion was ideal. You have to place order at the counter and clear the table. They also sell takeout boxes. It’s a laid back place and it was quite busy on a Thursday evening.

One of the best takeout options out there. I’ve many items over the years and a meal at Del Seoul always hits the spot. Lollipop K-town chicken wings (pictured) are some of the better wings I’ve had in the city. Meaty wings that are super easy to eat. Those, along with the OG chicken, are my go-to items. Also a fan of the bulgogi meals and shrimp KBBQ tacos. Always busy inside even on weeknights (good sign) but if eating in, you typically can find a table. Truly one of the most reliable, tastiest restaurants in the area.

The food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. I ate a fish taco, which was delicious. I also recommend the BBQ chicken wings. Make sure everyone arrives together because you can't order if someone is missing. They deliver your food, but you are responsible for clearing your table after you're done. One of the ladies there is very friendly and helpful. However, there was another person who gave me an attitude when I placed my order and seemed to be staring at me the whole time, which made me feel a little uncomfortable. Despite that, I hope I can come back soon to try it again.

I try my best to make this spot on every Chicago trip. It's hard to find good hot stone back home and this one always hits the spot. Greatly in part to its affordability for the area. I also love the variety and combinations that they provide. Making every visit a warm highlight. Tho I can get busy, you might have trouble finding seating for any party larger than 2. I went solo and was lucky to find the last open 2 top. Lastly, I know some people aren't big fans of the counter ordering-then delivery style. Just things to be aware of to plan accordingly.
