Feira do Bom Retiro

Bem menos lotado que a feira da Liberdade, o que é um alívio visto que essa feira é muito menor. Acho legal a experiência pra quem gosta da cultura coreana, mas eu não voltaria mais vezes. Ao todo experimentamos 10 comidas diferentes e a que eu mais gostei foi o tanghulu (o que é uma decepção). Enfim, valeu conhecer.

I was surprised that really legit Korean food is available, especially the bibimbap and pimenta mandu (spicy fried dumplings) which I bought from a cute Korean couple. We also had fried chicken in the first stretch that was really nice. Be careful about where you’re getting the toppoki (rice cakes) as the stall I got mine doesn’t grill them so they were cold and sad. I saw another stall which had it grilled so that will be way better. I finished with a lovely strong makgeoli soda that I recommend! I prefer this market to the Liberdade one, as it is authentic Korean here vs Liberdade’s localised Japanese food. Will definitely be back.
