I never thought I would plunge into the bay and then reset in the most gorgeous sauna I’ve ever seen, but here we are. Fjord is truly the most special thing and something that everyone should experience. Whether you’re feeling stressed or just want to remind yourself how beautiful California is, you can take part in Fjord’s plunge pool (i.e., the literal bay) or sauna (with a view of Marin) to decompress and feel good again. This is definitely an experience that I want to come back to time and time again ❤️ Note: The sauna fits about 6-8 people if you’re looking to book something private for a group! There are two saunas in total. If you’re looking for a fun birthday idea, I would recommend booking a sauna(s) and then getting lunch or dinner in Sausalito.

Awesome experience. Helpful staff, clean facilities, all amenities you'd need are easily available (changing room, drinking water, shower, storage for belongings), the parking lot nearby had plenty of space and felt safe. 2-hr slot is plenty of time for the experience. Went at 8am - sun was already out. Jumping in the Bay was super refreshing. The sauna itself is beautifully designed and had great views of the bay from within the sauna. we will be back!

Visited Fjord just before it opened and it was incredible! The saunas are right on the dock with direct access to the bay. Jumping into the water and then warming up while looking out at the Marin headlands through the sauna window was awesome. The design is clean and inviting, with natural wood and big windows that make you feel connected to the outdoors. I can already see a great community vibe forming once it opens. As someone who swims in the bay, I could definitely see myself finishing a swim there and heading straight into the sauna to warm up. Super relaxing and fun to go with friends or solo. Can’t wait to go back!

I visited Fjord Floating Sauna & Plunge a few months ago, and it turned out to be the best sauna experience I’ve ever had outside Finland. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, the löyly soft and perfect, and the sea water just the right temperature for a swim. The view was amazing, and we even saw otters and seals nearby. As a Finn and a sauna lover, I really appreciated how authentic it felt. Everything was thoughtfully done, and it truly captured the real sauna spirit. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the Bay Area.

Absolutely loved going at night! Really amazing experience on a cold evening. I didn’t think I would cold plunge at all and ended up jumping in, TWICE. Amazing experience for a small group. I slept GREAT afterwards. Definitely recommend.
