I've tried this cute cafe twice now and I can really say that they were good to begin with but even better now that they have slightly changed the texture of the bingsoo. They don't skimp on the flavor and the portions are good. Would definitely recommend the Oreo bingsoo( they gave so much Oreo haha, I've never seen so much Oreo).
Came here on Jan 3, 2025 around 8pm. We are VERY impressed. Arguably the best Injelmi Bingsoi I have had. I love how they layered the bean powder and red bean so it’s not just milk ice at the bottom. The amount of mango they gave is generous as well. I have seen Crossffle in Toronto before and this is the first time I see in Richmond. Very tasty. Now the hidden gem is the Korean Rice Cake. The chestnut rice cake is like WARM mochi with chestnut filler. Very tasty and not too sweet !!! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality dessert. Price is not cheap but quality is there!
I was craving some shave ice-cream and I decided to come here. Turns out they had more then just that! The strawberry matcha was a fun new way to drink my normal matcha drink. The croffle salmon is so good! The dough is super fluffy and the salmon so savory. And as dessert I tried the shaved Mango Bingsoo. The sweetness is perfect. Not too strong and just refreshing and delicious. I am really happy I found this place!!
When I came here after dinner, it was full of people, so I ordered a large injeolmi bingsoo for takeout. The cafe was quite busy so I had to wait for the bingsoo. It was worth the wait though! The server packed everything nicely in a box and put it in a cooler bag so it could keep it cold and it would not melt quickly. The cafe squeezed in a lot of ice in the container. I loved the injeolmi flavour. The bingsoo included injeolmi in layers so it was not just the ice. It also included some red bean paste and mochi. It was so so sooo good! It was much better than other ones I ate at Passion 8. The cafe was not cheap out on ingredients. Each bite of bingsoo included injeolmi. The soft ice was fluffy too! Mochi was chewy with injeolmi flavour as expected. I would love to go back and try other flavours and their croffles. Many customers offered croffles. They looked delicious! The server was friendly and welcoming. There is a free parking lot outside the cafe. Don’t need to worry about parking.
Priced better than snowy village. Oreo is always popular with kids. Grated oreo is tasty in any sweet iced treat. Honeydew could be sweeter. There were chunks of vanilla ice cream inside. Some may love it, but I prefer more milk shaved ice with condense milk instead. Overall the shaved ice is not as fluffy as winter bear or snowy village, but it's still good. If you can get a seat it's spacious and comfortable to stay in. Tables are odd and reminds me of washroom tiles, and some corners are sharp. Otherwise, good environment for shaved ice.
