The pork quality was excellent — well-marbled, juicy, and very flavorful. Service was attentive, and staff helped with grilling and explaining how to enjoy the meat. Clean and comfortable environment, great for gatherings or dates. Would definitely come back! 👍

Had high expectation for this place due to the high rating but it was kinda average to be honest. Service crew offered to bbq for us but I would recommend to bbq at your own so you can decide the doneness of the beef. Can skip Beef Tartare, it is not like those authentic kind where you had in South Korea. Other dishes were average too.

Had a great Korean BBQ dinner at Gamtan. The King Galbi was tender, juicy, and full of flavour. We also enjoyed the Flower Belly, Truffle Potato Pancake, cold noodles, and kimchi stew. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the staff were friendly. Nice place for a meal with family and friends. Will visit again!

I’ve been back three times, and the King Galbi is still the star of the show. The USDA Prime beef is incredibly tender, juicy and full of flavour without being overly rich. What sets this place apart is the variety of traditional Korean seasonings and dipping sauces, each bringing out a different side of the meat. The yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) was another highlight. Mixed with fresh pear, it was sweet, refreshing and had none of the gaminess some raw beef dishes can have. We also enjoyed the cheese potato pancake, spicy cold noodles and kimchi tofu soup. Portions are generous and quality is consistently excellent. One of the best Korean BBQ spots in Singapore. Highly recommended!

Had a great Korean BBQ experience at GAMTAN in Telok Ayer. I was deciding between the Beef Set with the signature King Galbi and the Pork Set featuring Axe Belly, Flower Belly and Moksal. In the end, I chose the Pork Set and was very happy with the decision. The meat was fresh, well-marbled and of good quality. What stood out most was the attentive service. The staff helped to grill the meat throughout the meal and ensured that every cut was cooked perfectly. This allowed us to simply relax and enjoy the food. The different sauces provided paired very well with the pork, bringing out different flavours with each bite. Besides the BBQ, I also ordered the Kimchi Stew and Truffle Gamjajeon. The kimchi stew was rich and comforting, while the Truffle Gamjajeon was crispy, flavourful and a great side dish to share. The meal was also complemented by a good selection of banchan, making the overall dining experience even more enjoyable.
