Gangnam Ok

We had a great experience at Gangnam OK. The banchan were generous and delicious, with a really nice variety. The A5 wagyu was the highlight, incredibly tender and literally melts in your mouth! Definitely a spot I’d come back to for quality Korean BBQ.

Finally came here for some authentic Korean food after hearing good reviews of it and got a feast for the eyes too. The food flavours were excellent and rich except for some dishes that may be a little too salty for our taste e.g. kimchi stew Girls' night: 10/10 👯‍♀️ BBQ: 10/10 🔥 Cute oppa serving us: 11/10 😍☺️ Needless to say, we left full.

We were recommended to try this place & it might be my new favourite spot if I'm craving Korean bbq! The menu is not super extensive but the sets gives you a great taste of everything & they have great banchan! We had the wagyu medium set for 2 persons & it's more than enough for us without adding any additional sides but we were tempted to try their pancakes & fried potato dish. They cooked the meat for us & I was waiting for our kimchi soup but after you finish the meat, they pour the soup in & add a bowl of rice to let it all boil together. Oh my goodness...you've never had kimchi soup until you try their version! We were honestly quite full after the meats & banchan, but we each finished 2 bowls of soup... It was soooo flavourful & very umami, unlike any kimchi soups we've had at any Korean places along Tanjong Pagar!

I had an incredible dining experience at Gangnam OK! If you are looking for authentic Korean BBQ, this is the place to be. ​First off, the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. ​The variety of side dishes (banchan) is impressive. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, providing the perfect balance to the main course. Speaking of the main course—the BBQ was outstanding. The meat was high-quality, perfectly marinated, and cooked to perfection. ​Whether you’re a K-BBQ enthusiast or a first-timer, the combination of great food and great service here is hard to beat. I’ll definitely be coming back

Being a huge group, it’s great to find a place which can accommodate us. The ambience is great. The service is excellent, it’s not easy to accommodate huge group. Though the steam egg was served wrongly to next table without realising the set is on our table. My friends didn’t realise is not part of the banchan and ate it. The server need to check next time if it’s ordered by them rather than just serving. Grilled beef was done well, just that the vegetables were too burned and we didn’t finished it. The meat cut is delicious and though is expensive, it is worth it. Hopefully they can improve on the grilled vegetables and the picture show a lot of variety , we only see mostly onion. Sweet corn pancake is sweet and savory so the kids didn’t like it. Doenjang jigae don’t have much ingredients and pretty bland so I wouldn’t recommend ordering it alone. Overall, I still recommend for someone who love delicious beef cut and would be back again! 😊
