I love this store and I love the restaurant. I come here to get essential ingredients and lunch. I ordered the shrimp tempura udon today. Affordable and delicious.
I love Gohan Market, we always stop by when we’re in the area. I like that there is an eating area where my two year old son can sit and eat purchased yummy Japanese snacks with my husband while I enjoy shopping. The lady who helped us at the register was very sweet and we also got to make new friends at the eating area! The place smelled like Japanese food so it made me feel like I was in Japan a little. ありがとうごはんマーケット!we’ll be definitely back again.
Amazing spot for Japanese groceries! From snacks to specialty items, the selection really captures the charm and feel of a true Japanese market. Yes, there’s a bit of a premium to the pricing, but it’s worth it for the authentic experience. The vending machines for toys add a fun, nostalgic touch — great for kids or collectors. The ready-to-eat food was decent, and there’s even a restaurant inside if you’re looking to sit down and enjoy a meal. Clean, well-stocked, and full of character — definitely worth a visit!
I came here at 10 am, and unfortunately the cafe opens at 11 am, so I didn't get the curry bread :
Fresh food menu with amazing prices! Yum! Little cute food court. You can also purchase authentic Japanese snacks and everything Japanese merchandise. I will be back for more delicious food! I ordered Ikageso Karrage and Kakiage Tempura in the last picture along with Tonkatsu Ramen black , Katsu Curry, and Niku Udon to take home to family
