I come here quite often for the body scrub and sauna, and I absolutely love it. It's one of my favorite places to relax and recharge. Personally, I find it much more enjoyable in the early morning when it's quieter and more peaceful. The experience feels more refreshing, and it's a great way to start the day. If you're looking for a place to unwind, enjoy a good scrub, and spend some time in the sauna, this is definitely worth a visit.
Very solid Jinjilbang experience. Best one I have ever been to outside of Korea, come to think of it. I very much appreciate the discount in evening and morning. Ginseng pho is pretty 🔥 as well at the attached restaurant.
Absolutely Ruined Our Relaxation – Incredibly Rude Staff! If you are looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and relaxing spa day, do yourself a huge favor and look somewhere else. This place was an absolute nightmare, and I will never set foot in it again. We booked this experience looking forward to a quiet, unwinding session, but the environment was ruined the second the staff opened their mouths. Halfway through our time there, a staff member approached us in a incredibly hostile manner and accused us of "being too loud." Here is the kicker: we were barely even whispering. We are fully aware of spa etiquette and were being completely respectful of the space and other guests. It felt like they were just looking for a reason to power-trip and make us feel unwelcome. Instead of handling the situation with discretion or professionalism, they were confrontational, rude, and completely ruined the vibe. You could practically feel the tension in the air after that, making it impossible to actually relax. A spa is supposed to be a sanctuary, but the customer service here is thoroughly toxic. They treat paying customers like misbehaving children rather than guests. Save your hard-earned money and go to a venue that actually understands hospitality and knows how to treat people with respect. Avoid this place at all costs!
I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Golden Lotus D7 warrants one. As someone who values professionalism and service standards, I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted: a proper massage and access to the cold room upstairs. I’ve visited other Golden Lotus locations before, so I’m familiar with the general offerings. Unfortunately, the experience here was the complete opposite of what one would expect from an establishment positioning itself as a premium spa. From the moment I arrived, the reception process felt rushed and poorly managed. I asked about several massage options, only to be told again and again that they were “not available.” In total anbout 4 options I adied about were dismissed without explanation. Instead of providing guidance or even a basic description of alternatives, the staff insisted that I should simply take another massage because it was “better” and “cheaper.” As an athlete specifically seeking therapeutic benefits, being steered toward a cheaper option without any explanation of its suitability felt dismissive and frankly insulting. Communication around the facilities was just as problematic hey. I clearly stated multiple times that I wanted to use the cold room upstairs. The response I repeatedly received was “sauna available,” which suggested either a misunderstanding or a lack of attention to what I was actually requesting. I assumed it would be clarified later, only to discover after the massage that the cold room required an additional payment and had not been included. This would have been perfectly fine really if it was communicated clearly when I asked about it several times before paying. The payment situation raised even more questions for me. When I asked if they accepted QR payments, I was told directly that they only accept cash or credit cards. This was surprising, since I’ve used QR payments at other locations. After finishing my massage (which, incidentally, lasted roughly 40 minutes despite being charged for an hour- the massage was probably top 10 worst massages I’ve ever had by the way- I don’t even want to be technical by you can tell they just doing this for fun honestly), I returned to the reception area and saw another customer paying via QR code. When I asked again, a printed QR code from ACB Bank suddenly appeared, and I was told it had just been printed five minutes earlier. That explanation simply didn’t add up like why couldn’t you print it out for me when I asked for it, if was that easy to print, and literally like 5mins before I finished my massage. You printed out the code for other customer yet you couldn’t do that for me? Make it make sense? Individually, these issues might be minor. Together, they reflect a pattern of rushed service, poor communication, inconsistent information, and a level of customer care that falls well below what a business like this should deliver. At a minimum, customers should expect clarity, professionalism, and transparency. Unfortunately, this visit provided none of the above. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Golden Lotus D7 to others looking for a reliable spa experience. By the way I am putting up a print of the receipt where I was charged for a the bathhouse and I didn’t request it. So they decided to add an item I didn’t request. Sauna and Cold room are too different of words to mistake the two! Don’t be fooled by the smiling badge they have. They’re not very welcoming. Next time will take my business elsewhere easy.
One of my favorite places for self-care and relaxation. I've visited several times and always leave feeling refreshed. The atmosphere is peaceful, the drinks are great, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely a perfect spot for some quality me-time.
