Gong Grocer Asian Supermarket

The nimbus icecream is one of the worst milk soft serves I've ever had. Do not bother, not saying you won't like it but there are way better outside. No milk flavour, not even as fragrant as a plain vanilla. Close to a condensed milk flavour but more pure sweetness than any of the tastiness you might expect. The cone was good on the first two bites, but when you mix the icecream with the biscuit, it gets ruined and diluted by the flavour of the icecream. The texture was fine though, smooth and not grainy, melted easily but otherwise a semi dense feeling in the middle. I am usually up for trying things at least once for the sake of it, but especially at $7.5 each, strongly recommend you give this a miss. Was only given 70% of the height of the pictures too.

STOP SELLING EXPIRED PRODUCTS I am sick of having to carefully check expiry every time i shop here! This is unsafe and needs immediate attention. Please stop selling items past their expiry date. Todays date is : 6/3/2026

They literally have everything I need. I don’t really have to bring stuff from home just to survive in Sydney anymore. They even got a small liquor store in the Supermarket. $20 for a bottle of the Oyster Bay. I’m gonna give this place a try next time I visit Sydney!

Gong grocery has a good variety of Asian goods, liquor, fresh produce and meat. Nice and clean conveniently located inside world square. You’ll always find something that you need.

This supermarket is quite new and feels like it has a very comprehensive and innovative selection of products. It’s such a pleasant place to shop—every time I visit, I can’t help but fill an entire shopping cart. It gets even crazier around the Lunar New Year. I discovered they offer mixed mystery gift boxes, which are both beautifully presented and high-quality. They’re perfect for taking home or giving as gifts. BTW, they also have a great selection of alcohol, which made me wanna try them all.😋 We’re so lucky to have such a fantastic Asian supermarket here in Sydney!
