Went for a private event and staff were very welcoming and inclusive. Facilities were clean and access to the beach was nice. Great variety of saunas. Could have more shaded area and more comfortable loungers.
Loved every little thing about good hot! Awesome heat. Easy to dip into the bay. Great design inside and out of the saunas. So many cool spots to lounge and enjoy the space. Any really great signage/directions all around
There are no saunas in Good Hot, just very hot rooms. Sauna is a place where you throw water on the heated rocks to create steam, called löyly. It's an essential part of the sauna experience. Good Hot was a great example of how most saunas in the U.S. go wrong: no löyly (hot steam), no moisture, very uncomfortable. We turned the temp down in our sauna, and it made it at least bearable. None of us were sweating, which also tells you the temp and humidity were off whack. The beach should have pavers or planks in the water because the shore is very rocky, and you can turn your ankle easily while wading into the water. It's a beautiful setting. Just do it right, and you have a gem. Btw, Google says they are wood-fired saunas. Pls correct that because it's a big disappointment to see they're not.
Had a lovely time at good hot! It's a seriously gorgeous location and I love the design. Some things to note is that you're definitely pushed out quickly after your booked time ends so be aware of that if you want to picnic, and the only bathrooms available are porta potties. But overall it was so peaceful and special and I will definitely be back.
Fantastic sauna experience! We loved our 90 min session! We brought a small picnic and cans of drinks and our own small ice washcloths for a primo experience! We booked a 6 person sauna and we don't think 6 people could fit!!! But still had an amazing time! Thank you good hot!
