Grace Street Coffee & Desserts

We ordered shaved ice, and it was NOT a shaved ice. I was expecting to have a more authentic Korean version, but it was just a pile of ice cream. I think they might have shaved a ice cream, but definitely not the ice. The ice cream was really sweet, while the strawberry on the side was too sour. They did not balance well. We paid ~$17 after tax and the portion was generous(it will suffice 3 people). The space was big, so it can accommodate big group. After ordering at the entrance, you will have to pick up the food and clean up after yourself.

This place is a decent dessert stop, but it’s not a spot I’d stay at for more than twenty minutes. There was a cold draft through the entire hall and it was insanely loud. However, the food was good, it came out very quickly, and the prices were not outrageous.

I've been to Grace Street several times over the years, a KTown hotspot at this point. Recently, I stopped by to try their new Dubai Chewy Cookie (두바이). Its a mound of pistachio cream and kataifi wrapped in marshmallow and coated in cocoa powder. I found it to be quite delicious, with the contrasting textures of the soft, stretchy marshmallow and the crunchy, sticky filling. Flavor is not too sweet, and nutty from that pistachio cream. Definitely recommend visiting to try this and their many other treats like their shaved snow, basque cheesecake, new chocolate beignets, and more.

probably the best dessert i had while in nyc…and as a certified sweet treat girl i can assure you i tried a LOT. the tiramisu basque cheesecake was out of this world, and if i had more time i would’ve stopped by again. the cream was incredibly sweet while the cake itself was more subdued creating the perfect balance. the atmosphere is nothing crazy, but it definitely would accommodate bigger groups as there’s some large tables. highly recommend!!

Delicious desserts! We got their burnt cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake shaved snow. Both were so delicious. Best Basque cheesecake I have ever tried. And the shaved snow, the texture was different but good. It was like mochi ice 😂 we need to come back and try more things.
