H Mart Doraville

I went to this Asian market that was simply astonishing. The prices might be a bit high depending on the type of product you get, but the huge variety and the different kinds of items you can find are definitely worth it. I loved the fruits and vegetables section because it made me feel like I was back in my own country, with similar kinds of fruits. The snacks section was amazing, with different flavors of chips, cookies, and chocolates to choose from. They also have a butcher shop, fish market, spice shop, liquor store, and many other things. I went there to buy food and ingredients to make a homemade Korean BBQ, and it was a total success considering the prices of all the ingredients. They also have a large hall with a cafeteria and small clothing and souvenir stores with a lot of variety. It’s definitely a good place to visit at least once in a lifetime.

Coming from the east coast, the super H mart here is at 3X in size in comparison. There are more selections of everything, from seafood, veggies, snacks, household supplies, premade ready to eat food and so much more. Outside of the grocery side, there is a good size food court section and many cute boutique shops that sell skincare products, cute Asian items and clothing. Price is not any cheaper compare to the east cost Hmart, but quality is consistent. Large shopping center with ample parking. Highly recommend.

Beware of their “unique” and marked up exotic fruits at this location. To my surprise, the boxed pink pineapple I purchased was completely rotten upon opening and the customer service representatives were unwilling to help. Stick to shops that actually care about their product’s quality.

This is a great supermarket, especially for Southeast Asia type foods. And the fantastic selection that vegetables and fruits that normally usually not say in a regular supermarket. Fresh fish is a great! You can get things so fresh. There's still swimming. Also the food court is a big plus. We had a OK-Dog we have the half mozzarella and a hot dog was very yummy.
