H Mart Jericho

This is a massive Korean grocery store with amazingly fresh produce and fish. There is a Bakery on site and also a hot food to order with seating. The variety of items that the store has is beyond what you might expect. They also have samples of specific items available to taste on the spot. Be prepared to spend some time here. You won’t regret it.

Good supermarket for Asian groceries. Fruits & vegetables are extremely fresh. 😊😊 I really like the sushi counter in the rear. You can see the chef diligently working his craft. The sushi rolls are very good & reasonably priced. The sashimi looks great 👍, They allow you to order ahead for large platters. It is recommended if you are throwing a party. 🎉 Insufficient seating & large crowds is the only down side I can see… 😅😅

I just wanted to let you know how helpful Mr Kim in customer service of the Jericho HMart was on Tuesday evening, May 26. He helped me get my cell phone that I left in my friend’s car. He is a kind, helpful man. Thank you Hmart for being there and hiring such a helpful man!! Shopping at Hmart is always a pleasure! So many wonderful Asian foods!!

I bought a box of mangoes that looked perfect from the outside, but when I cut them open the next day, almost every one was black and rotten inside. Completely inedible and disgusting. I contacted customer service, but they refused to do anything since it had been “more than 24 hours.” Very disappointing quality and poor customer service. I won’t be buying from them again.

Everything you need, Asian inspired, you’ll find here. Everytime I visit my family in NY, we always make a stop here for snacks, sushi, and ramen soup packs. The store is always organized, clean, and always well kept, everything seems to always be in order, easy to locate. One thing to know that after 7pm, all suchi and hand rolls are 50% off, for can definitely get some good tasting items at this shop, and you can’t go wrong with the price.
