Honestly I don't think their AAA cut meats are well suited for hotpot. It's cut way too thick for hotpot and ends up very chewy.

Went to Han Kook to get some Galbi for a BBQ. You can purchase un-marinated ones or marinated ones. We opted for the marinated ones. They provide a smaller portion size but we got the larger one since we were hosting a larger party (9 adults). It came in a nicely sealed container and the total came out to be $175 for two packages (9.95lbs @ $17.49/lb). We grilled them on our BBQ and they were super delicious and everyone loved them. We even had leftovers. Will definitely go back again. If you have time to marinate it yourself, I would get the un-marinated ones as it will be cheaper.

Since becoming pregnant, I’ve been craving meat all the time, and I always look forward to visiting this butcher shop with my husband! The owner is always so kind and even gives helpful tips on how to store the meat. The quality is consistently fresh, and the portions are generous. It’s definitely worth the trip all the way from downtown :) I hope this place continues to thrive and do even better!😊

It’s already my third visit! Ever since I got pregnant, I’ve been craving meat, so I kept searching for high-quality options and finally settled on this place. Now, every time I visit, I end up buying a generous amount—but it’s so good that it never even lasts a few days haha😂 I also made short rib soup with the meat the owner kindly gave me as a bonus, and it turned out amazing! Whether it’s beef, pork, or lamb, everything is top quality. This place is truly my favorite spot!

Simply the best place to get all of your meats for hot pot. Fair pricing and good selection makes this place the go to for many. Expect to wait in line during the holiday season, as everyone is buying their meat for hot pot at home.
