This is the best massage I have ever gotten. The service at this place is top notch! Fair prices for a luxury spa. I’ll be coming here again soon!
Absolutely divine. I got a massage and a body scrub and both were excellent. Overall wonderful service, clean and beautiful facility, and they even had a steam room you can enjoy before or after. Daniela was my masseuse and I think it was the best massage I’ve ever had (and I’m a glutton for spa treatments)! Definitely a must if you’re looking to pamper yourself in CDMX.
Overpriced, tiny space, no ventilation and the staff are not real esthetitians/dermatologist. The deep cleaning facial i got is not deep, the extraction itself did not take more than 3 minutes, unexperienced facialist. She said they “personalize the products for each skin” while she clearly did not even look at my skin before applying anything or asked me what i needed. Only good thing is the products. Would recommend buying any product from Biologique recherche with the money the facial costs and would be better and last longer. Do not recommend.
I just had the most amazing sports massage of my life at Hela Spa, located inside the beautiful Brick Hotel in CDMX. My massage therapist, Tania, was absolutely incredible — professional, intuitive, and masterful in her technique. She knew exactly how to work through deep tension and muscle tightness while still making the experience feel relaxing and restorative. I’ve had massages all over the world, and this was hands down one of the best I’ve ever received. The spa itself is peaceful and luxurious, with top-tier service from the moment you walk in. If you’re in Mexico City and looking to treat yourself, do not miss out on this experience — and if you can, ask for Tania. She’s phenomenal. 🙌 Thank you, Tania, and thank you Hela Spa for setting the bar so high!
Absolutely the worst massage and spa experience I’ve ever had. I booked a one-hour deep tissue massage at Hela Spa Roma inside The Brick Hotel, expecting professional-level service. Instead, I received what felt like a generic, cookie-cutter Swedish massage from someone who seemed more like a beginner at massage school than a trained deep tissue therapist. The so-called therapist climbed on top of me and went through a very basic routine with no real pressure, no technique adjustments, and no sense of customization for my needs. Partway through, another therapist came in because time was running short. While she was slightly better, it was only because I literally had to tell her step-by-step what to do. There was zero relaxation—imagine going to a spa and ending up teaching your massage therapist how to give you a massage. That’s exactly what happened. To make matters worse, as soon as it was over, I was rushed out of the room by a janitorial staff member who seemed more focused on cleaning up than on allowing me any post-treatment relaxation. For the premium price they charge, this was completely unacceptable. If you actually get massages regularly and know the difference between good and bad technique, avoid this place at all costs. The setting inside the hotel may look nice, but the skills, professionalism, and customer experience are nowhere near what you’d expect from a reputable spa.
