We were familiar with the area, but we did not know there was upstairs, so we went up to check it out! This Korean grocery store was a bit smaller than average, but you could get all the basics. We needed a snack, so we got some Korean sushi rolls. It was quite good. However, there was no space for you to eat inside, so we just quickly ate it outside the store.
It is the first time I go inside this specific store, its clean and neat. Product is mostly Asian and Korean friendly. They have fresh meat and frozen sea foods plus crabs and octopus. They have pre made sushi and Asian noodle bowls. Also and small fridge for greens and fruits with Asian drinks. I think they are abit pricy.
Nice to have another supermarket in Yaletown! Love the Korean options and assortment of goods. It’s small but has all all the basics - fruits, veggies, meat, frozen goods, snacks, noodles. Prices are reasonable, especially when on sale.
The GOAT of Yaletown lunch spots. It's got hot foods like kimchi fried rice and tteokbokki. It's got cold foods like gimbap and onigiri. And when you got a craving for dessert? You hit up the back of the store for that juicy $2 bungeoppang (Korean taiyaki), available with custard or red bean filling. I love their gimbap. It's got rice, veggies, and protein all in one dandy roll! I grab 2 of those + 1 bungeoppang for lunch and it's by far the most affordable (and delicious) lunch option!
First time here. Food is sooo good 🤤. Tried their beef kimbap and bought a Stir fried udon for dinner. For dessert bought their Taiyaki and loved it! Not too sweet, crunchy form the outside a soft inside.
