Huge range of authentic HK desserts - these were $8.80 each and portions are pretty big - can share 2 between 3 people. This is the N3 (black sticky rice, mango, coconut milk) and G7 (taro coconut milk sago). They are not too sweet - just right for Asian tastebuds - especially the taro. The taro is also cooked nice and tender.

Very authentic and Home cooked HK dessert style cafe. The desserts were all very tasty and reminds me of HK. The cafe can get quite busy and there are limited seating area inside. 100% recommended to visit.

I am absolutely livid after visiting Hong Kee HK Dessert. The portion sizes are an absolute joke and was pathetic, so unbelievably small it feels like a blatant scam. Charging those prices for such microscopic servings is beyond unacceptable, it is downright insulting and shows a complete lack of respect for customers. There is no excuse for portions this embarrassingly underwhelming. The service was utterly appalling. The staff were not just unhelpful, they were openly hostile. Instead of doing their jobs, they stood there glaring at us the entire time with cold, rude expressions, making it painfully clear we were not welcome. It was incredibly uncomfortable and frankly infuriating to be treated with that level of disrespect. I have never experienced such blatantly rude behaviour in my life. And calling this Cantonese is honestly ridiculous. This is not real Cantonese dessert in any sense. The quality is subpar, the execution is careless, and there is zero authenticity. It feels like a cheap imitation trying to pass itself off as something it clearly is not. The menu may be big, but they take quantity over quality making all of the food taste like absolute disgrace. This is a Cantonese desert restaurant and they put crème brûlée on the menu. As a fellow human that has Cantonese heritage, this is a insult to our culture. This place is a complete disgrace. Overpriced, inauthentic, and staffed by people who seem to have no interest in basic courtesy. If you don’t treat people like they want to be treated, just shut down. Saves you the work. I would never return under any circumstances and would strongly warn others to stay far away as possible.

Solid without being spectacular - a slice of HK nestled in the heart of Eastwood. Wide array of desserts with seating, places gets super busy during peak - lots of people get takeaway. Food is nice, prices reflect AUS standards but still on the cheaper side for dessert. Flavours are good but not like the real thing. Close enough for a local joint.
