As someone who’s visited many spas, I can confidently say this was a letdown. The photos make it look spacious, but in reality it’s a very small spa. If you’re strictly interested in saunas, you might find it acceptable — they are modern and updated — but that’s honestly the only real positive. For a $65 admission fee, it seriously falls short compared to other spas in the same price range. The layout is poorly designed and incredibly noisy. There are two eating areas, and because everything is essentially in one open space, you can hear conversations and kitchen noise even while sitting in the saunas. The saunas themselves aren’t soundproof, which completely defeats the purpose of trying to relax. There’s also a noticeable lack of quiet resting areas. Beyond the saunas, there’s very little to do unless you’re willing to spend even more money on a massage, treatment, or food. It feels intentionally limited — as if the goal is to push you toward additional purchases rather than provide a well-rounded relaxation experience. Many other spas at this price point offer complimentary amenities like board games, relaxation lounges, or red light therapy beds. This place simply doesn’t measure up. I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.

First time visited this concept Spa. One can spend long hours inside this Spa & Sauna. Leisure, Work, spirituality, family time, couple time etc etc can be clubbed with Spa & Sauna. Nice Korean style concept. Loved food and interior .

Very nice spa experience! I removed 2 stars because sometimes is complicated to find an empty spot to rest, some customers don't realize that this is a shared space and if you're not using it allow someone else to use it. It took me like 30 minutes to find an available spot to rest. Came back and hour later and even I've asked the ladies on the massage front desk... their answer was first come first serve they can't control what people leaves on the resting chairs.

Not my cup of tea. I went last weekend, and it was packed—they even had a waitlist and eventually stopped letting people in. It felt more like a hangout spot for college kids. There were groups of young girls giggling and talking in the saunas, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. The yoga room was open to anyone and could probably fit about 20 people, but there were easily 40 people in the class. There was no real space to stretch or focus, so it didn’t feel like a true wellness experience. The sauna areas were nice in theory, and later in the day things started to clear out, but when I first arrived they were packed. Some guests were so relaxed they were falling asleep and snoring, which also made it difficult to unwind. There also didn’t seem to be much oversight of shared spaces. People were camping out in the massage chairs and nook areas for long stretches of time, making it difficult for others to actually enjoy the amenities. One thing to be aware of if you’ve never been to a Korean-style spa: the body scrub and pool areas require full nudity and are gender-specific. Services are done in a shared room with multiple tables at once, not private treatment rooms. During my body scrub, they used Dove soap—not spa-level quality for the price. Also, the staff doing scrubs wore what looked like sheer bra-and-panty style attire. I understand it’s wet work, but it didn’t feel professional or match the price point. I’ve never seen a body scrub where someone is basically in underwear providing the service. Not to mention the only nice or helpful staff is the one taking your money up front. Overall, the facility itself is interesting, but between the crowds, product quality, and overall experience, I already know I won’t be coming back. Weekdays might be a better option if you want a calmer visit.

My wife and I recently spent the day at Island Spa in Edison and honestly had a really relaxing experience. The facility was extremely clean, well maintained, and had a calm atmosphere throughout. The food options were surprisingly good for a spa, and the different relaxation areas made it easy to completely unplug for a few hours. The sleeping room was probably the most interesting surprise — basically an adults-only nap room, which somehow felt both incredulous and amazing at the same time. For first-timers: this is a Korean-style spa, so you’re given a t-shirt and shorts to wear in the common areas, and people walk around either barefoot or in socks. Totally normal for this type of spa experience. Overall, a very relaxing day and definitely worth checking out if you want to decompress for a few hours.
