Great vibes and tasty food. A lot of good side dishes and you have to try their ice cream. The staff was attentive and helped us grill and cut the meats. Price is a bit in the expensive side but that’s expected in the neighborhood. Will be hard to find parking around here.

Great addition to k town We tried their: A5 wagyu brisket Boneless short rib American wagyu hanger Prime boneless short rib Burrata, kimchi jiggae, dolsot bibimbap, and cheese egg soufflé. It was honestly a crazy amount of food for good value. They also have like 10 bon chon side dishes. We finished with olive oil sea salt ice cream

I came for the Katsu set lunch special. This is likely the best pork Katsu on the east coast. Super crispy flaky outside with tender moist meat on the inside, just like it’s prepared overseas. Emily my server and all the staff were very welcoming and took great care of the whole experience.

Me and my friend went to JYJ for lunch, and it was phenomenal. Our server, Emily, was so sweet and welcoming — she treated us like family. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place before! This is officially our new lunch go-to spot. The cold noodle in this hot weather was absolutely spectacular, and the shrimp katsu was huge and perfectly crispy. Trust me, this is one of the best lunches you can grab in the city. I’ll definitely be coming back for dinner too :)

Jun 18, 2026 - Pretty underwhelming experience at Jeong Yuk Jeom. We came as a party of four. The set was just okay and the quality was nothing special. The sides were pretty meh too. The biggest issue was the value - we ordered an additional portion if the pork belly (samgyeopsal) and it turned out to be $45 for a single strip. That’s a lot of money for a cut that wasn’t even large - hard to justify that price. Service was lacking as well. They rarely checked on us, and we had to ask several times before anyone came back to help.
