I am updating my review to 1 star. I have been going there for 2 years at least once a month often buying several bottles at a time. I bought a jar that was almost spoiled unbeknownst to me. She had snuck in a rancid dongchimi among 3 large jars of kimchi. I called the store immediately and got nothing but ridiculous excuses as if I had made this situation up. I called an hour after the purchase. They should not be selling rancid kimchee. Nothing worse than stale kimchee. I will not go back. I will go to another kimchi store in Ktown

I am buying Kimchi from here about 20years. I like Kimchi more than any K-food. So I am very sensitive to taste, immediately knew. There is no MSG and not salty besides it was just like my mother's made. I am 71 years old and have a cancer (blood) but it was manageable for long. but 5 years ago it became so dangerous life and death state, more over 7 month ago I have another cancer which is so rare and happens in my blood cancer kind. In this stage fortunately I lost taste like other patience "except" Kimchi. They recommend to eat lot of meat and fish etc. But I could eat Kimchi only. and had it every day every meal a lot of Kimchi. It is so unbelievable I am getting well day by day. Kimchi helped me to recover. Recently I heard Kimchi is recommended healthy food. Yes it is. It fights against cancer. Especially Kae Sung Kimchi is super tasty and best. As far as I know owner, especially Mrs. is one of such a humble, good person. Maybe she is making Kimchi thinking about patients like me, with all her sincere heart. No doubt. I believe she and her husband will be successful and do business long. Sending my warmest appreciation to them.

They distribute their kimchi to many Korean markets. I get mine at a store close to my place. And, I’ve always liked the taste of Kae Sung Kimchi. It has a clean taste like the kind my grandmother used to make when I was a child. But recently, I bought the cabbage kimchi that had a very loose lid. I took it back to the market where I bought it, and they were not very apologetic. I can’t imagine getting a peanut butter jar that has a loose lid without a seal on it at an American market. This will unacceptable! This place has to pack their kimchi so that the jars can’t be easily tampered with or loosened in the process of fermentation. I am very disappointed!
