It has a calm atmosphere, and you can enjoy traditional Korean snacks with a gentle sweetness. The staff are handsome. It seems they also offer Korean language classes. There was a cute parakeet by the elevator.

I had lunch in Shin-Okubo and thought I'd check out some cosmetics before heading home, but it was too hot and I didn't feel like looking around. I decided to have some shaved ice before heading home, but when I looked around, I found long lines at every famous shop. Just as I was about to give up and head home, a photo of a traditional Happingsoo caught my eye in a multi-tenant building near the station, so I decided to take the elevator up to the third floor. When I got off the elevator, the atmosphere was like a traditional Korean teahouse, with a relaxed atmosphere and a more mature crowd than just young people. I had no idea there was a place like this in Shin-Okubo. What I Had on This Day (tax included) ・Traditional Happingsoo 880 yen A simple, fluffy milk ice topped with red beans, rice cakes, and nuts. After eating the top of the milk ice, I added the red beans, rice cakes, and nuts. The size was just right for a solo meal, and it wasn't too sweet. Most other cafes serve ice cream in portions large enough for two people, but this one is truly single-sized and feels just right after lunch. Also, they have two mascot cats, but one was fast asleep next to a customer and the other had gone to the back for feeding time so I didn't get to touch it, so I'd definitely like to go again.

They have a wide variety of teas that are hard to find in Japan, which is very appealing. I've had Omija tea and Sanghwa tea a few times before, so I ordered Amadokoro tea, which is said to have beauty benefits. It was very sweet, refreshing, and easy to drink. Like Japanese barley tea, it seems that in Korea it's often stored in the refrigerator before drinking. I was able to taste a tea that is very familiar to Koreans.

This quiet shop, located in Shin-Okubo, will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city and make you feel like you're in Japan! This super-close-to-the-station shop is the perfect place to travel back in time and enjoy a relaxing Korean tea break. They don't serve coffee or black tea. They offer healthy herbal tea, which is popular in Korea. Their sweets are also gluten-free! They serve rice cakes, which allow you to enjoy a traditional Korean sweet taste that is gentle on the body. Both the drinks and desserts are made with healthy ingredients, so they won't leave you feeling bloated. Each tea also comes with an explanation of its health benefits, so you can enjoy it too. They keep small birds on the floor, and their chirping is soothing. The restrooms are outside the shop. This is a laid-back, retro shop that's more geared towards adults than students.

This traditional Korean tea cafe has a wonderful, genuinely authentic ambiance—it’s a perfect spot for a peaceful escape in Shin-Okubo. The teas and atmosphere are highly recommended. However, a notable issue during our visit was the confusing pricing. The prices displayed on the first floor were different from those on the menu we were handed, and both were inconsistent with what is currently listed on their official website. For better customer experience and transparency, it would be great if they could update and synchronize all their food and tea prices immediately.
