Groceries in Toronto.
What locals say
VERY interesting place. HUGE in fact. And has mostly anything your looking for in Asian grocery foods and snacks, and restaurant size cooking. ...except for Boss Coffee cans. Seems to be the one thing they don't have, or i just couldn't find it. Eithor way, make sure you have a membership or you can't get anything. (I think if you already have a Galleria membership, you're good?)
This is a big Korean warehouse club that actually offers a more diverse selection than your typical Costco. Unlike other wholesale stores, you don't always have to buy in giant quantities. You’ll need a membership to pay. The price is lower than I expected when checkout. It seems to be under the same group as Galleria.
Need to obtain a membership in order to shop here. It’s free though. Can sign up online or at the store. Similar to Costco but a Korean version!
Enjoyed shopping here. Interesting selection of snacks, rices, teas, seaweed, sauces, soups, housewares, beauty products, etc. Though it is compared to Costco, I would say it feels more like a specialized large supermarket. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only knock against it for me is that you have to sign up for free membership to buy anything. When I tried to do this the website appear to be "not secure, since it does not support HTTPS", so I didn't sign up. Anyway, the manager was nice enough to let us buy some groceries this one time; but since I don't want to enter my info on an insecure website, I guess I won't be coming back, unfortunately. I wonder if others have had this issue?
First time here, a very good Korean warehouse with many Korean food products (dry or fresh or frozen), household items and cosmetics too. Definitely we will be back from now on. Customer service is excellent and very friendly too. Great shopping experiences, thank you!
