Kim’s Mart

I love everything else about the store and really enjoy shopping there. However, the cashiers don’t seem properly trained on how to efficiently scan and bag items, particularly one of the younger staff members (she seems to speak English well). After working an eight hour shift myself, I don’t expect to have to bag my own groceries since that should be part of the cashier’s role. The checkout area is small and the lines are often long, so it would really help if cashiers could scan and bag items at the same time to keep things moving smoothly.

A very good store with a lot of fresh goods. Despite its rustic look, it still behaves like a normal supermarket just with less items traded for a more friendly staff.

Really tight aisles where it seems to only fit 1.5 person at most (kept getting bumped into and apologizing for bumping into other people) and inaccurate pricing. Even if you mention it to the cashiers they don’t care and won’t honour the price that was shown to the public. And looking at other reviews, this doesn’t seem to be the first time. I can’t even imagine if I didn’t check and got home to an unexpected price. Even though extremely confusing, neither of the price tags shown were accurate for the seaweed salad. The cashier didn’t even apologize for the inaccurate pricing, honour it, or seem to change the price tag. It might be still cheap, but I hate being lied to, so I didn’t buy it. Not coming back again!

A great supermarket that sells Korean products, with a wide variety of choices. They also offer meat and seafood, which is a nice bonus. The staff are friendly and have smiling. However, the aisles are very narrow, and most of the time you need to step aside when someone passes by. Parking is very very difficult to find, which is one of the biggest issues.

Wow, definitely my new found favourite grocery store in the area! Huge variety of Asian products not just Korean, great prices and discounts! They even give out cash coupons! Makes me want to keep coming back :) Great prices for meat. And Kimbap is DELICIOUS! Also happy to see fresh oxtails here.
