Kono Gelato

Really delicious and unique gelato options. Every gelato type is very flavourful, preserving the original taste. We got matcha, pistachio, black sesame and yuzu ones. Each of them was absolute delight.

Fantastic Japanese ice cream place full of authentic flavors, from Genmai to Yuzu, to Matcha, the Sundays are cute little creations with red bean, genmai, mochi, and chantilly cream. Staff are super cute and make you feel welcome in the most honorable Japanese way.

It’s not exactly central, but definitely worth a visit, especially since the neighborhood is so charming. I’ve been here way too many times. I recommend the matcha and black sesame flavors, but we really disliked the roasted soybean. The yuzu, in my opinion, didn’t have enough of that distinct yuzu taste, it was more like regular lemon flavoured ice cream, okay just like the chocolate flavour. They even offer a hojicha flavor, which is rare to find outside of Asia, and it was my friend’s favorite. I enjoyed it a lot as well. Will eventually visit again for the tea flavours!

Very very tasty ice cream and they have lots of creative favors. Definitely above market price for one Kugel (2€-2.4€ each) but I won’t call it over priced because they pay attention on quality and the size of the ice cream is decent as well. Will definitely go again!

Authentic Japanese ice cream. Fresh, perfect sweetness and consistency. Fine ingredients! The matcha one is PERFECTION. Shop is cute and the workers are very nice. You can sit outside as well as to enjoy the beautiful neighbourhood of Nordend. Price is very decent, but I think each scoop could come a bit more.
