What locals say
So many interesting foods and kitchen essentials. Plus many other items. Fresh produce, and store cupboard necessities. Quite a large shop. Customer toilets available. To drive into car park... Turn left when you see big yellow storage. 💛 Shannon's corner, new malden. Easy to walk to and plenty of bus stops.
“My experience at Korea Foods was good. The food quality was nice and tasted fresh, with a unique Korean flavor. The service was decent and the staff was polite. The atmosphere was simple and clean, making it a comfortable place to visit. Overall, it was a nice experience and worth trying if you like Korean food.”
Absolutely fantastic range of Korean and wider Asian, items here. What really is lovely is how friendly welcoming and helpful the staff are here they can give some really fantastic suggestions and tips, the events and popup workshops can be really interesting and helpful for those interested in learning more/trying new things.
Another supermarket in New Malden which focuses mainly on serving the local Korean population. Whilst most of the products sold in the shop are Korean, there are also products from other Asian countries too. The shop is clean, spacious and brightly lit, which makes it easy to find what you're looking for. There are fresh and frozen food sections, as well as homeware too. There is a separate bakery attached to the shop (with it's own entrance) but it has shorter opening hours than the main shop. Fortunately, a small selection of baked items are available to purchase from within Korea Foods, even when the bakery is closed. There are no self-service payment tills, but there are always enough staffed tills open, to keep queueing times to a minimum. The car park is quite badly designed, making it feel a little dangerous to drive in - it could do with some floor markings. Nevertheless, I appreciate that the shop has a customer car park, and that it is free. It's a great place to shop for Korean groceries, and also Asian groceries in general. I like that they sell larger packet sizes of certain products, such as tea or noodles. Well worth visiting.

I’s an excellent destination for Korean groceries and Asian ingredients in general. I particularly like the larger pack sizes available for items like tea, noodles, and certain sauces. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Korean products or a wide Asian selection in the area.
