KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

If you come here, your patience should be 100% there or else you will end up not satisfied. We went here right before noon. Before sitting, we waited 15 min when we were told it will only take 5 minutes. Remind you, there has not been much customers yet because we went on a weekday and they barely opened. We got sat down, gave us water after 8 min of sitting down. Someone came up to us after 10 min of serving the water to finally serve us but she abandoned us without saying anything and we were so confused. Waited another 15 minutes to get the real service where they got our order and showed us the food bar for the sauces and some dish. While eating the first order, we noticed that when we put in order on the tablet, its not going to our table so that was another issue but someone had changed it and was able to fix it. When the grill was swapped there was dirt on it🤮 we took off the dirt and made sure that the grill was hot enough to kill the jerms🫣 ALSO, they dont follow their menu prices so expect to pay the dinner price even if its lunch. They should take that off their menu because we thought we were going to pay for the price of lunch and not dinner. Overall, the food was good, service sucks, and i wouldnt recommend if you dont have the patience to wait..

Came here to try something different that we've never had before. It was an overwhelming experience as the menu is very large! There's a choice of Korean BBQ (where you cook meat directly on a hot plate) or Korean Hotpot (where you cook things in a broth). It's a fixed price based on day/time for each, or you can pay a bit extra to have BBQ and Hotpot. We decided to try both because why not! There's a QR code you can scan on the table to see the menu items which are split by BBQ or Hotpot. Massive selection of different meats, fish, veg, rice, noodles etc. The server was great at answering our questions and we started off by ordering some meat and veg in small portions just so we could try some different things. The BBQ highlight for me was the beef Bulgogi. Was like shredded beef but it was coated in an amazing flavoured sauce. The spicy salmon was also amazing. Bit spicy but I loved the flavour of the coating. Great fun being able to cook your own food so it's just perfectly cooked! Although we liked the Hotpot it wasn't as good as the BBQ for us personally, but was still fun to try. The sticky rice that came with it was really really good. The server often came over to check we were ok and to ask if we wanted more food. The portion sizes could be a bit variable, and often when we asked for just a small portion we still got a big portion. However, because the food that comes out is uncooked it does come out immediately after ordering. They also have a buffet section that you can help yourself to which includes some hot items (like fries, cheesy corn, rice, salad and lots of sauces) We stuck mainly to beef and salmon so not an issue if undercooked, but if we had chosen chicken or other meats that were more important to cook thoroughly it might have made the meal more stressful as we'd have to ensure things were cooked properly (and we were given no instructions on cooking times) Was quite full up by the time we finished eating but I thought I'd ask what the dessert options were just in case! Was very happy they they had small tubs of ice cream! The coffee ice cream was really really good, and perfectly cold and refreshing after sitting at a really hot table due to the heat of the hot plate. Overall we had an amazing meal and ate far too much lovely food. Was a great experience and we will do it again one day.

Fantastic location near Midtown and offers prices that are much more reasonable than other AYCE spots in Atlanta. The servers are excellent, very attentive and there exactly when you need them. However, the ventilation system needs work as the smoke was quite heavy and left a strong smell on my clothes. I also noticed the buffet section was frequently empty and the tables/dishes could be better organized. Still, for the price and convenience, it’s a solid choice if you're in the area!

I had always wanted to try KPOT, but the price kept me away until now. We finally went and overall it was a good experience. The seating was comfortable and our server Justin did a good job explaining the options. We went with both hot pot and BBQ for a small extra charge (5%) per person. For the broth, I got the tom yum and really liked it. My brother went with the spiciest option, but I preferred the tom yum for its balance and flavor. I do not eat beef, so I stuck to chicken and seafood and enjoyed them. The service was quick. It is definitely on the pricey side, but if you love eating a lot and enjoy meat, you can get your money’s worth. Dessert options were limited, which was a bit disappointing. We paid around 95% for two including tip. I probably would not go back, but it might be worth trying once to see if it’s your thing. Free and Plenty Parking.

Really good quality Korean BBQ and Hot pot. They have bar for sauces, side dishes and fruits. They also serve ice cream cups at the end. We order a lot of sliced pork belly and beef brisket. The Xechuan and Tom Yum soups were perfect spice for me. Dumplings and Shumai were also good. The deep fried tofu skin was so good. Also, we got really good service.
