What locals say
It’s generous that the restaurant provides side dishes for free. I haven’t seen any Korean restaurants doing so within zone 1. Side dishes were okay in terms of taste though (definitely certain level of flavour enhancer). We’ve got seafood pajeon, but not many seafood was in there. Wont order it again. Jokbal (pig’s feet) was good, but a bit smelly - could have cooked better. One thing I really didnt appreciate in terms of the service is that staff asked us to leave after 1 hour and 30 min without any prior notice. I haven’t heard of this time limit when making a reservation and even when I arrived. They just told us to wrap it up soon because other people were waiting. I am not a big fan of this time cap and even if it exists the staff should have let us know way in advance, not in the last minute.
Food was pretty good in terms of quality and taste. However portions are a little small for the price you pay. Got the meat assortment for BBQ alongside tteokbokki. The meat assortment came with a bowl of rice which was nice alongside side dishes. However this meat assortment was around 30£ and we expected a little more meat. Overall a nice place to get some Korean bbq and the other Korean dishes like bulgogi looked good too but didn’t try. Spent 35£ pp and was relatively full by the end.
Amazing food. Meat was very tender and good quality. Brilliant service. They were very attentive. This was our first time. They even guided us how to grill the meat and what to pair it with. Overall, amazing experience ✨️ will definitely come back.
We came here for dinner on our last night in London, we ordered for four people, safe to say that this was both a wonderful experience in taste and in atmosphere. The servers were wonderful, they came and helped us grill the meat a handful of times even when it began to get busy. The meat and sides were beautiful and well seasoned, we also enjoyed the kimchi jigae and it was delicious, I’m pretty sure we finished it before it even had a chance to stop bubbling in the clay pot. I would definitely recommend this as a cute stop if you’re in the area, or if you’re in the mood for wonderful people and a lovely dining environment .
The service here is truly exceptional — among the best I’ve experienced in any Asian restaurant in the UK. Every waiter and waitress was friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with genuine smiles. The overall atmosphere felt almost like dining in a fine restaurant. At one point, I stepped away from the table, and the waiter immediately noticed a small spill on my chair. He quickly cleaned it before I returned — such thoughtful attention to detail! The staff really care about the dining experience, ensuring guests have everything they need. One even kindly showed us how to mix soy and sesame sauces to better enjoy the BBQ beef — a lovely touch. The food was impressive too. The BBQ beef was incredibly tender and smooth — honestly, one of the best textures I’ve had in the UK. The selection of five different Appetisers was also fantastic, each one full of flavour. If there’s one small area for improvement, it would be the portion size of the BBQ set — it might feel a bit light for a typical appetite. The seafood tofu soup was decent, though fairly standard compared to typical Korean cuisine. Next time, I’ll be sure to book in advance, as this restaurant tends to have long queues without a reservation. This time we were given a smaller table for three, but it didn’t affect our dining experience at all. Overall, it was a wonderful visit, and I’ll definitely be returning again soon.
