Brought my daughter she loves matcha she said the things she tried were delicious small inside but cozy staff was courteous. If matcha is your thing I say try it out !
I had a really disappointing experience at Premium Matcha Maiko. I was excited to try their drinks, but it was a complete letdown. The strawberry matcha was honestly terrible—overly sweet, artificial-tasting, and completely unbalanced. It didn’t taste fresh at all, just like a sugary mix thrown together. On top of that, they didn’t even have ube matcha available, which was one of the main reasons I went in the first place. No heads-up, no substitute suggestions—nothing. What really sealed the experience for me was seeing the matcha already pre-made and sitting in those red-top Kool-Aid style pitchers behind the counter. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering matcha, which is supposed to be freshly prepared. To make matters worse, we traveled here from Jacksonville, FL and we paid over $20 for drinks that tasted awful. Definitely not worth the price or the hype. I won’t be coming back.
Ordered the strawberry matcha latte. Had a bit of a coffee after taste, which I really liked. It’s beautiful and came out quickly. You can taste the quality. Ended up being about $8.91. I believe they have more flavors in the shop (at least for the lattes) and less listed on their website. They also have restrooms for the customer inside! Great little place to study.
We tried the matcha mango sticky rice! Highly recommend it with matcha ice cream and asking for extra coconut rice. Dessert was a 10/10! There is limited parking in front of the store. I would recommend parking in the plaza behind the store.
I ordered the ube foam matcha latte and wasn’t disappointed! The flavor was rich and well-balanced - definitely the best matcha I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place. The staff member was speaking a bit fast, so I had to ask a few times to understand, but that wasn’t a big deal - I was also pretty tired. My drink was $8.10 with tax, which felt very reasonable for the quality. My friends ordered a matcha latte float, a matcha frappuccino, and a brown sugar matcha latte - everything was great. Service was also very fast; we barely had to wait. 5/5
