The cashier was so accommodating and really took the time to give us (9 people) a run down of the flavors and the attention to our tastes. The shaved ice was so flavorful, not too sweet (perfect for asian palettes) and didn't melt right away. Definitely recommend the mango passion fruit and the chocolate! The seasonal we tried was marzipan and it was wonderful 💕 it's a small cafe, but I love the intimate setting as a little hole in the wall. Will absolutely come back for their next seasonal! (Also got the tea and it was a refreshing light pair to the intensity of the flavors)
i love the concept and uniqueness! personally felt the texture was a little tooo soft, as i normally enjoy kakigori more fluffy and icey. persimmon flavour was quite good but too sweet. hojicha chocolate smoothie was delicious!
Such amazing and delicate flavors!! Not too sweet which I prefer; every part of it was a treat. Their whipped cream and cookie on top is a must!! Wish I could buy bags of their cookies..so yummy. Tried their seasonal Marzipan flavor, and the Matcha. Loved both and can't wait to try rhe other flavors and items on the menu!!
I tried their shaved ice and blockshake, and everything was so delicious!!!! I had the Kiwi Banana Shaved Ice and the Cashew Coconut flavor. Since it’s coconut-based, the natural nuttiness comes through beautifully, giving it a rich, refined flavor. It’s a taste I haven’t experienced anywhere else. The cream is also wonderfully rich without being heavy, so the whole dessert feels wholesome and full in flavor. For the Blockshake, I tried the Mango Pineapple, which is made from an ice block that includes avocado and coconut. Because of that, it has a dense, luxurious texture, very different from the typical smoothies I’ve had. It tastes elevated, almost like a new category of dessert. The interior of the cafe, with its warm wood design, is stylish and modern. It’s perfect for a date spot for younger people, but I also think it would appeal to older guests who prefer desserts that aren’t overly sweet. You can really taste the quality of the clean, carefully selected ingredients, which brings out a premium flavor. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the price range of $8.50–9 feels very reasonable. It’s a fresh, modern, and sophisticated dessert experience that pairs beautifully with the chic atmosphere of the cafe. I highly recommend it!
A very satisfying dessert that does not feel heavy. We tried the honeydew pandan summer seasonal shaved ice and it was delicious! A little too subtle in flavor, but still very enjoyable. Loved the fluffiness of the shaved ice and coconut cream on top. The star of the night really was the hojicha blockshake. Full of nuttiness flavor and wasn’t too sweet. Would love to try the hojicha shaved ice and all the other flavors to be honest. Crowds come and go and it did get quite busy. There are tables inside and a few outside. Easily found parking on the side street on a Saturday night.
