We passed by the area and tried our luck. We got a table within 30 mins during off peak hours. Had the beauty & perilla seed set. It was so good. Soup are flavourful and chicken is soft. Will definitely be back to try others.

Food definitely worth the price. Ordered the together set. Appetizer, beauty collagen soup and sesame ice cream are my fav. I wouldn't say I have d good experience. I went with my hubby and a toddler. Am 1st in the Q and got seated. We ordered immediately once seated. Appetiser and side dish were served within 15mins. However, I saw other customers had already have their soup served (how could that be when I ordered before them), so I asked the staff and they said coming (it was already 50 mins later after seated). The soup (mains) came around 50mins later. I understand the dining time is 90 mins but what I'm disappointed was the staff came and served the ice cream when I did not ask to be served to be left melting, and also inform that I have 15 mins left. I was rushing to gobble down the hot soup...damn, it's a huge portion! Also felt the staff were not well trained. How could you served food from the toddler side? And placing in front of the toddler instead of the adults? Why? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Different staff also kept coming and ask if they can clear the table cos my hubby almost finished his and had to bring my toddler out (maybe the same staff can concentrate on the same section in the restaurant?) Think again if you are bringing toddler here.

Had a really lovely experience at MODU. The food was comforting and absolutely yummy, perfect for a nourishing, satisfying meal. What truly stood out was the exceptional service; the staff were attentive and genuinely caring. We also really appreciated the priority seating for seniors and pregnant women, which shows their thoughtfulness and consideration. Highly recommended for both the food and the experience.

Very good Samgyetang and banchan. We had the collagen soup and the set for 2 is $98++. Comes with sides which was very good too. The dip for the fried veggies pancake was a bit too salty though. Collagen Samgyetang was really deep with flavour. And I love the scoop of sticky rice on the side. The complimentary dessert was nice too. A little slow on refilling the banchan. Otherwise, friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Came to Modu Samgyetang at Mandarin Gallery not knowing what to expect, and honestly left very impressed. We ordered the perilla seed samgyetang and the hangover samgyetang both were surprisingly delicious. The broths were rich, deeply flavoured, and clearly made with care. And the portions? Way more generous than expected for the price. Really good value. What made the experience stand out though was the service. John was attentive and sharp, despite how busy the restaurant was, he came over promptly, walked us through the dishes, and made us feel well taken care of without being intrusive. You could tell he genuinely knew the menu. Xin Yi was also excellent at managing the floor coordinating the seating flow smoothly even when the place was packed. That kind of behind-the-scenes coordination often goes unnoticed, but it’s what keeps a busy restaurant running well.
