Mukja - Korean Street Food

We were absolutely thrilled with the food. We took two dishes and a portion of kimchi back to our room. It was the best street food we've ever had. The owners were both very friendly and welcoming, which led to some great conversations. Thank you, and we'll definitely be back.

Can’t review the food — never got that far. This place doesn’t accept card payments. In 2026. In a neighbourhood full of hotels. Next to Frankfurt Airport. It takes a remarkable commitment to tradition to turn away paying customers because their money is stored digitally. I walked in hungry, walked out hungry, and the establishment walked out of a sale. Nobody won. Bring cash, or bring patience for the walk to a more modern alternative.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The lady that took the order was great! A lot of information about the food and the ingredients. The food was ready in less de 7 minutes. I will come back!!!

I got the bibimbap and the rest of my family got the Korean chicken. All were very delicious. The sauce on the chicken bowl was especially fabulous and the chicken kept its crunch, even covered in sauce for a while. The owners are very friendly and even let my son try the sauce before he decided on his dish. Highly recommend!

I passed on the restaurant at my hotel next door to this gem after reading the reviews for both the hotel’s restaurant and Mukja. I’m so thankful I chose Mukja because it was the best meal I’ve had this trip. The Korean chicken was crispy but so flavorful with the sauce (I wish I knew the secret). The owner was also so kind and even offered me a chair while I waited on my food. I really can’t recommend Mukja enough!
