O.BaJjijang & BBQ Ordered the Pork Set and it was seriously satisfying. 🥩🔥 The pork cuts were fresh, thick, and beautifully marbled, especially the pork belly and collar — super juicy once grilled. Every slice cooked evenly and stayed tender without being overly greasy. Loved the variety in the set — from rolled pork belly to sausages and mushrooms, everything complemented each other well. The side dishes and sauces were flavourful and paired perfectly with the meat, enhancing the overall BBQ experience. Portion size was generous and definitely worth the price. Great place for a casual BBQ meal with friends or family. Will definitely be back again for another round! Highly recommended 👍
Fresh, flavourful, and very satisfying overall. One of the best things is that the staff cook everything for you, so you can just sit back and enjoy without worrying about timing or getting it right. Service is fast and efficient, which makes the whole experience smooth. The à la carte dishes are solid as well — not just the mains, but everything feels well-executed. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I want a fuss-free, satisfying Korean meal.
Had a great food hunt today at a Korean BBQ restaurant—what an amazing meal! The meat looked incredible and tasted even better, with a beautifully charred, crispy exterior that added so much flavor. The soft tofu seafood stew was also a highlight, especially when paired with rice—it complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive, even helping us cook the meat, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Really enjoyed the fresh and tasty food here, especially the juicy grilled meat. The variety of side dishes was good. The rice balls were a favourite with the kids — they loved them! Service was also friendly and attentive. Great place for a family meal, will come again!
Obba Jjajang was surprisingly busy even on a weekday evening. We arrived just before 7pm and were met with a queue, and the restaurant remained full even after we finished our meal at around 8:30pm. One pleasant surprise was the variety of banchan, which included tteokbokki and sweet potato - a generous spread compared to most places. We ordered a range of dishes to try: The Korean fried chicken was one of the highlights. It came with keropok, a sweet coleslaw-style sauce, and pickled radish. The skin was crispy from deep frying, while the meat remained tender and juicy. 4/5 The jjajangmyeon had onions and minced meat, but leaned on the sweeter side. 3.5/5 The cheese seafood pancake was more cakey than crispy (even though we chose the extra crispy option), likely because we left it out for too long. 3.5/5 The kimchi stew felt unbalanced, with some bites overly salty and others oddly sweet, almost reminiscent of ketchup. 3/5 The steamed egg was unfortunately overcooked, with a burnt smell that affected the entire dish. 3/5 The palace noodles had a mild, clean flavour. While it might appeal to those who prefer lighter dishes, it wasn't quite what we expected and not something I'd personally order again. 3.5/5
