Got here during lunch time, there’s no one so i didnt have to wait long. Ordered the matcha latte w ice cream (matcha), pearls and mochi. Mochi’s a bit hard. The matcha latte is fine, ice cream’s very delicious though. Next time i would try to order just the matcha ice cream.

My favourite matcha ice cream in town, the taste is just right in balance not too bitter or sweet. Self serviced ordering process is simple however often a queue due to too many selections customer usually took while choosing their orders.

The variety here is great, and I really liked the biscuit on top of the ice cream — it’s unique and has their own logo, which makes it stand out from other places. The matcha flavor is very strong and rich, but a bit too bitter toward the bottom. At first it tasted nice and refreshing, but later it became quite intense and even made my mouth a little numb. Maybe adding a bit of sweetness at the bottom would make it perfect. Overall, still a nice experience!

As a local guide, I’m always on the hunt for authentic matcha, and Oh! Matcha in Sydney is a true standout. In the middle of the city's hustle and bustle, this place offers a perfect blend of high-quality Japanese flavors and a modern, stylish atmosphere. 1. The Drinks: Matcha Yuzu & Double Cloud We ordered two of their signature drinks. The Matcha Yuzu Tea was incredibly refreshing—the vibrant, citrusy tang of the yuzu balances the earthy bitterness of the matcha perfectly. It’s the ultimate thirst-quencher for a sunny Sydney day. The Matcha Double Cloud was another level of indulgence. The foam was light, airy, and velvety, creating a beautiful layered look. The taste was rich but not cloyingly sweet, allowing the premium quality of the green tea to really stand out. 2. Texture & Taste of the Ice Cream You can't leave without trying the ice cream. The texture is remarkably rich and dense, with a smooth creaminess that melts perfectly. It’s intense in flavor, which is exactly what a real matcha lover looks for. 3. Aesthetics, Music, and Vibe What impressed me most was the interior design of the dining area. The color palette is so well-coordinated—it’s modern, clean, and very calming. It’s an "Instagrammable" spot, but it’s the curated music and chill vibe that make you want to stay longer. It’s the perfect place to take a break from shopping or exploring the city. Summary: Whether you're a hardcore matcha enthusiast or just looking for a cool spot to hang out in Sydney, Oh! Matcha delivers on every front. From the flavor profiles to the seating aesthetic, it’s a 5-star experience.

We tried: • Ichigo matcha float ($9.20) – matcha with fresh strawberry jam. Refreshing, not too sweet, and the strawberry pairs really well with the matcha flavour. • Matcha float ($8.50) – smooth with a rich and strong matcha flavour. • Black sesame & Hokkaido soft serve ($6.30) – creamy with a nice roasted black sesame flavour. This is one of our favourite dessert places in the city. The matcha flavour is rich and authentic, not too milky or watered down like some other places.
