Old School Kafey

Delightful deserts in quirky surrounds, very popular amongst the crowd, we were one of a few tables when we arrived, cafe was nearly full by the time we left. Highly recommend their BINGSOO, we had the chocolate with cornflakes, Oreos and rice krispies. It was perfect for 3 people!

Absolutely a must try. Staff are very accommodating, friendly. The watermelon bingsu is refreshing - great for summer days. Can't go past the truffle pasta and the samyang Korean flavour pasta - absolutely blew my mind! The schnitzel was average and so was the burger.

This place is definitely one of Sydney’s signature dessert spots. It’s always busy with both tourists and locals, and the queue is usually very long. The toast and croffle are really delicious, and the portion sizes are quite big, so they’re great for sharing. I’ve tried them many times and they never disappoint. Personally, I’m not a big fan of the bingsu. It’s not bad, but it feels a bit plain and slightly too sweet for my taste. What I really like about this place is the atmosphere — it’s lively and fun, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I’ve been here many times, so I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re in Sydney.

Nice! The melons were natural tasting, not extra sweet, which means they didn’t soak it in syrup. There’s also a distinction in ice texture between bingsu and non bingsu.

The food was delicious! The waiting time wasn’t too long as we were there early, however usually it is busy. They do have a policy of $10 per person, but a lot of dessert restaurants have a similar policy. I recommend their famous bingsu here! We got the strawberry one, and for sure coming back to try other dishes
