What locals say
I have been to many Korean Spas iver the years in LA and elsewhere...small and large bougie and rustic women only and coed... Olympic was a little bit strange. When I arrived at 9:00 a.m. they informed me that I should have scheduled an appointment to use the spa but that was okay they would allow me to come today for $60 as I didn't know. I let them know my friend was arriving 5 minutes after me and that she also did not have an appointment because we did not know that. When she arrived they told her you're not allowed to use the spa without a a treatment and forced her to schedule an expensive treatment to come in and join me which we did not put those pieces together until she got in that we had totally different experiences at the front desk and also shortened our time together for her to go the treatment. There is only one steam room and one sauna in the wet spa area. There are two rooms in the larger part of the spa that you go in with robes. There is no seated shower area which is very common for a Korean spa to have, to be able to do your scrubs and your treatments, they dont have it here. We put a face mask on and they came and told us we are not allowed to have any cream face masks only cloth masks and made us abruptly wash our treatment off of our face, as if leaving it the 10 minutes would be an issue just to inform us for the future. It seemed extremely militant people giving strange energy as if we are being watched and followed every move we made in there. I don't think that I will be back. I want to go to the spa for 4+ hours and have a whole experience and I just felt like I was in trouble the whole time. I did enjoy free access to towels and cloths whenever you need versus only being alloted 1 or 2 at other spas, but that's not enough to bring me back. It is very pretty, but not welcoming.
Feeling so refreshed and Glowing after spending a few hours at Olympic spa I highly recommend the K-pop scrub that includes a lymphatic massage, hair washing shampoo and conditioner, and two different kinds of face masks ! and ending with a cucumber mask that was so refreshing and cooling! Such a beautiful and clean facility I am in love so happy I found Olympic spa
I love it, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. I understand why they require you to buy a body treatment with tips included. The service is really good and the front desk is super nice. The wet area is somewhat small but relaxing with herbal sauna. They have a huge outdoor area to relax as well. They give you a robe and spa sandals which other places I’ve been to do not. This is somewhere I’ll be going more frequently as it’s women only.
This experience was amazing! The massage felt so good, and the whole atmosphere was such a vibe. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next visit. I literally can’t wait to come back!
Been to several spas big and small always looking for comfort and new services Olympic checks the mark. Loved the ice sauna, snack bar, and shower area all very nice. Didn't like that massage services are in the same general area as hot tubs so not as quiet or private but no deal breakers. The staff was nice and all facilities were clean.
