Reiwatakiya Toronto

I visited the Reiwatikiya branch in Kensington yesterday. Saw a box of $5 lippies, I asked the cashier why they’re selling it for cheap since they were well-known brands such as Romand. She explains that when they sell out most of the product and only have one or a few left in stock, they just sell it for cheap. She encouraged me to buy 2 because of the price, so I did. When I got home, going to try the lip products out, I quickly examined the expiry dates of each and unfortunately they were expired. It is not valid or appropriate for stores to sell expired lip products even at a cheaper price. Yes it was cheap but health and safety risks still exist, it is misleading, and the store should be responsible for product quality. On the receipt it says not refund or exchanges anymore, so I am leaving a review in hopes of the store to reach out and do something about this.

This was my favorite store back when it was on Yonge Street! I’m so happy to coming back. God!! finally, I can get refills, all my favorite Japanese products again, and a wide variety of Japanese items ❤️ I bought the Tsubaki reffils

Came to visit from Calgary and loved everything here! Customer service was amazing! We got a free gift bag and they were so helpful in helping us choose a gift. Felt very welcome and the selection of products was perfect! Highly recommend 💜

Love the store and what it has to offer but the customer service was not there at all. The cashier barely talked to us and didn’t even bother to give us a receipt and charged us $5 per pokemon pack when the label was $4 in person and online too. For reference we bought 4 journey together packs, for $4 each it should have been around $18.08 after tax. Not $22.60. I am disappointed as this store has a 4.9 star rating with reviews of great customer service, but I did not receive the same attitude..
