Seoul Gamjatang - Korean Restaurant Toronto | Pork Bone Soup

The food was absolutely delicious, with excellent quality and fresh ingredients. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and very well prepared. The service was also wonderful — the staff was kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this Korean restaurant to anyone looking for tasty food and great service.

The food was really good and the portions were huge. We ordered for two people, but honestly it felt like enough for four. There was a lot of meat, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We were really satisfied and would definitely come back again!

This restaurant is great for a nice cozy meal on a cold day, especially if you're a fan of Korean cuisine. I would say that prices are definitely not very cheap, however the quality of the food is quite good. I have read reviews complaining about the meat portions in their bibimbap, which I have to agree with; I believe they could afford to add some more meat given the $23 price point of a bowl of rice, vegetables, and meat. I did enjoy the taste however, it was steaming hot and the gochujang sauce added lots of needed flavour. I also enjoyed the kimchi pancake, despite it being a little salty for my taste. With that being said, they always take suspiciously long to serve their pancakes, compared to the rest of their food. The first time I came here, they forgot it as a whole. The third time, we had to remind them since we were scared they had forgotten it again. Overall, the atmosphere seems a bit dated (seats have stains and our table was wobbly), hence why it's nice for a casual meal, but nothing special like a date. I would come here again because I feel that it's quite authentic-tasting and has some comforting options.

We had such a wonderful experience thanks to Min again!! From the moment we arrived, she treated us with genuine kindness, warmth, and care. She made us feel completely at home, and her positive energy created such a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. I usually only the vegetarian without mushrooms and tteokbokki without the fishcakes because I don’t eat seafood and mushrooms personally and this place accommodates me every time, which I’m always grateful for ❤️ The dishes here feel like it’s made with genuine love, care, and attention to detail. The warmth and hospitality extend beyond the service and into every meal, making the entire dining experience feel special and memorable. Min went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of, and her friendly, attentive service truly stood out. It's rare to come across someone who makes guests feel so valued and appreciated. She is an absolute asset to the business, and her dedication to providing exceptional service does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Min, for making our experience so memorable. We will definitely be returning, and a big reason for that is the outstanding hospitality you showed us🤍 I just really wish they can open a location in Hamilton too, or somewhere close so my commute to this restaurant becomes a little easier and can enjoy this every week near home✨

Really good food and service. We went for my friend's birthday celebration and they handled a big group of over 20 people with quality service, attending yo our every need. Very friendly and polite servers on top of the very delicious pork bone soup and vegetable pancake. The pork bone soup pot was loaded to the brim with deliciously seasoned broth with the right amount of spiciness and warmth. The meat was very tender and flavourful. The vegetable pancake was also quite a big portion enough to almost fill up me and my friend even before we got to our main course. Definitely would come again and try out their different dishes.
