Seoul Restaurant | Traditional Korean BBQ

I stayed at the Conrad Singapore and was delighted to find out that one of the restaurants at the hotel, Seoul Restaurant, is a Korean steakhouse. As a business traveler and mostly dining alone, it was daunting to look at the variety of meats and other menu options offered. My dining experience was saved by Erlyn, Seoul Restaurant's Manager, who simply asked me several questions and was able to gauge my picky palate. She chose premium selections of galbisal, galbi, deungsim (rib eye), ojingeo (squid), and for my fillers, spicy soybean stew with clams and japchae. Of course, before everything came out, the usual array of side dishes was brought out. The meats were premium cuts, and the grilling was done almost to perfection, mostly because of the attentiveness of Erlyn and her staff. If you want to truly experience an authentic Korean BBQ Steakhouse when you're in Singapore, make a reservation at Seoul Restaurant, because it gets packed. You will not be disappointed.

An experience beyond Compare, the moment we stepped into the Restaurant at the Regent Hotel, now called Conrad; it was clear this would be no ordinary dining experience! The ambiance strikes between sophisticated and welcoming, making you instantly at ease. What set Seoul apart is the impeccable service. I have never experienced such attentive and friendly staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu, quick with recommendations and ensured our grill was always perfectly maintained. Their expertise made the entire dining process effortless! The genuine hospitality made the celebration of my wife's birthday a memorable occasion! And then, there's the food. Cuts of meats of high quality perfectly marbled and prepared. The charcoal grill imparted a smoked flavour that gas grill never can. The verity of of dishes served was a testament to authentic Korean cuisine! This place a culinary gem. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience with exceptional Korean steaks, a beautiful setting and service that goes above & beyond, than this is the place! A must visit!

Love the atmosphere here. We got a room to ourselves and the food quality was absolutely awesome! Wagyu was fresh, tender and melts in your mouth. Service was too-notch as well, friendly servers who helped us grill whenever they have the availability as well!

Though the price may be higher than most K BBQ, we are spoilt by the wide selection of dishes from grilled mackerel, stews, pancakes, noodles etc to choose from. The meat quality is superb, even for normal buffet. The fresh squids and prawns helped break the monotony of meats. I like how they bought a "sampler" of everything we ordered. They were thoughtful to offer us a cheesecake dessert tart with a candle, since we were celebrating our anniversary. Overall, a memorable first time experience there. Will definitely recommend to try!

The premium Japanese wagyu A4/A5 beef so good… melt in your mouth.. their hanwoo beef also juicy and beefy … the Jeju pork belly and iberico pork belly yummy too.. the prawns and squid fresh Service is good. No fancy ambience unlike the newer Korean bbq restaurants, but the food quality easily compensate for that… if you want quality Korean bbq, come here!
