Snow Bliss Cafe

I love this place! I come here all the time to do homework. The menu is well rounded, the noodle plates are bomb. They're always served fresh and hot. As a sago lover, their mixed fruit flavor is one of the best, you have to try it if you're a fan of boba vibes and want to try something new. The staff is always friendly and they're open late. I shared a bingsu for the first time and it was a fun experience all around. This is genuinely one of my favorite places in West Portal.

delicious sinitic/east-asian eatery in west portal! 5star food and service! I’ve eaten there twice and both times, the food quality, portion sizes, and service did not fall short! To give an example, my most recent time I got their chow fun, shrimp dumplings, and lotus rice, and a free Thai tea since it was happy hour. The chow fun had the PERFECT texture, the Thai tea was delicious and both sides left me feeling refreshed. Lastly, the server even offered to give me another drink as he saw I wasn’t drinking mine! Truly a RESTaurant, which is so rare to find in this day and age.

April 2026: Stopped by for lunch and ordered the mapo tofu and the beef chow fun. Both were very tasty. Would come back again. November 2025: Used to come to the previous restaurant for many years. Stopped by to try Snow Bliss Cafe during dinner time. Ordered the beef chow fun and the broccoli 🥦 beef with rice. Overall, enjoyed my meal. Portion was quite large. Service was friendly. The restaurant is not very big but the workers are pretty prompt. Our order took a while to come out because they were very busy with customers and Togo orders. They gave us complimentary fried won tons for our inconvenience. I thought that was a very nice gesture. (We weren't complaining. They still acknowledged the delay in our order by giving us the won tons.) Overall, would definitely come back again for more delicious Chinese food.

This is one of the most low key, excellent Chinese restaurants around. It's easy to think this is just a dessert cafe but someone in the back is a master at their craft. Someone is preparing tasty dishes with a deft hand. I will say that our chow fun noodles were too soft but it's probably an anomaly judging by the exit preparation of the other dishes and photos I've seen. Went looking to Chinese food a little on the late side, found this on Google and realized we've been here before but for dessert, not food. We did remember there were a lot of people eating last time and we said we'd try it one day, so here we were. Beef Chow Fun, it was good but the noodles were a little limp, I think it was not up to their usual standard. Photos from others show that is wasn't as good as they normally make it. Salt and pepper wings. These were quite good, crisp skin, moist meat. Had to quickly remove the generous amount of garlic and peppers because my girls can't take too much heat. I scraped it onto the rice on my plate and ate it. 😆 Popcorn chicken. This is not your usual white pepper, basil boba shop fare. It was boneless breast meat cooked Katsu style with breadcrumbs. Similar flavor profile to the wings, was good but too similar in taste to the wings Sweet and sour fish. This was outstanding, we liked it better than any regular Chinese restaurant we've had it at in recent memory. Portion size was very generous for a rice plate albeit it was $18. Still, three of us shared don't but I ate most of it....barely. Crispy yet light batter that held up to the well balanced sauce.

The first time I discovered this place was when I was browsing through DoorDash seeing what to have to eat and it immediately made it to my list for a place to visit and tryout. This place is fairly new and a good addition to the area since there are not much Asian/Chinese restaurants in the area. Upon arrival, it was dinner time and the place has yet to fill up. I was greeted by their friendly staff and seated right away. Their menu consists of small plates/appetizers, rice dishes, noodles, desserts, drinks and much more to chooses from. Also Dim Sum is served all day here. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. This place gives out true vibes of a Hong Kong style cafe. As time went by, the place quickly filled up along with people picking up their orders and delivery drives arriving for pickups. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where my visit was a satisfying and issue free one. You can dine in, order for take out, place an order over the phone or have it delivered to you via a delivery app. I highly recommend this place to all Chinese food enthusiasts, to anyone willing to try something new, if you need a quick bite, to anyone looking for a laid back spot to dine at or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
